View Full Details of Busy Bees London MottinghamMy oldest child has been at Busy Bees Mottingham for almost 3 years. My youngest has been attending for almost 2 years. In that time, they have developed fantastically. The staff are very caring and they have a good core team of staff that have been there for some time. I always get detailed feedback at the end of the day. I hear about the healthy meals they have eaten, they educational and fun activities they have done, and of course toilet info and nap info. They also have a good app relaying these details. I have been very impressed with Busy Bees. They are inclusive and have created a nice community, celebrating each others differences through things like Cultural Day and ' Country of the Month'. I thoroughly recommend them.
My Daughter has been attending this nursery since may but in such a small amount of time she has developed amazingly. I'm always so impressed with the thorough feedback and progress checks everytime I collect her. She knows every staff by name and so do I now. It's so lovely to be surrounded by such friendly yet professional individuals. I trust the staff will take the best care of my daughter and that feeling makes leaving her so much easier. I wasn't sure what to expect when I signed her up for this nursery but it really is the best, she comes home so happy and full of light. Really couldn't recommend this nursery more! Keep up the fantastic work guys, you are all contributing to raising the most wonderful children and you should be so proud! Love from a very grateful mummy!
One member of staff, in particular, and the team are very professional and my children love coming to nursery every day.
Busy Bees in Mottingham is great and my daughter loves it. There is a wide range of activities on offer and the staff are caring and supportive. I would thoroughly recommend it to any prospective parents.
My son's recent nursery teacher has shown an exceptional ability to connect and understand my child. He meticulously tracks my son's milestones, providing thoughtful insights and personalized attention that have greatly contributed to his development. Since he began teaching him, my son has shown remarkable positive growth, not only academically but also emotionally and socially. He has a unique gift for bringing out the best in children, fostering a supportive and stimulating environment where they can thrive. The nursery is always filled with positive energy, and my son eagerly looks forward to going to nursery each day because of him. He is an invaluable asset to the nursery. His dedication, passion, and genuine care for the children make him an outstanding educator. I wholeheartedly recommend him for any opportunity he pursues; any institution would be lucky to have him. The teachers at your nursery have all been amazing. Thank you soo much
My daughter has been at Busy Bees Mottingham since January 2023 and has absolutely thrived there. The staff are attentive, friendly, fun and full of enthusiasm for their jobs and the children's development. The nursery has a homely, comforting feel to it with so many activities, toys and displays for the children to do, play with and look at. It also has a huge garden that the kids spend a lot of time in, which is a big tick for me as my daughter loves running around outside. The menu is very nutritious and my daughter eats well. There is a lending library for the children to borrow books from, which we love, and a lending library for parents is currently in the works! All the staff work hard and are great, and the nursery manager has done a brilliant job since she's been in post at making the nursery a lovely environment for both children and parents. We can't recommend Busy Bees Mottingham highly enough - it has been a joy seeing our daughter so happy to run in every morning!
After our eldest (who is now in school) attended Busy Bees Mottingham; we knew for sure we needed to look for no alternative nursery for our second child. Busy Bees Mottingham is managed by the manager who is a very organised, efficient and focused managed who thrives to run a high quality nursery. The staff in the baby are absolutely incredible & affectionate in looking after the babies and children with utmost care. They are always able to accommodate any short notice requests for childcare whenever possible. They have a beautiful large garden and a huge area for play for the children. We have known Busy Bees for approximately almost 3 years and we are grateful for the support they continue to provide towards our children. The saddest part was seeing some very liked staff members leave, regardless the manager always ensures the new recruitment of professionally qualified & nursery staff that have the safety & care of children at their priority. Thank you Busy Bees Mottingham!
Busy Bees London Mottingham was where my son attended, transitioning from the baby room to the toddler room and finally, to preschool. In the early days, the management was quite poor, with weak communication and a high staff turnover, which created a sense of instability. But when the new manager stepped in, there were clear improvements. She introduced small but significant changes, care levels increased, staff turnover dropped and communication with parents became much better. The nursery itself is great, with fantastic outdoor spaces and a wide range of activities for the children. My son especially loved the Spanish lessons in preschool and the rugby sessions. One thing the nursery could benefit from is a bit of a makeover. A fresh coat of paint and some modern renovations would brighten up the space. Ultimately, my son thrived at Busy Bees, I was really pleased with the positive changes and care he received under the new management.
The staff are very friendly, loving and affectionate. We chose this nursery for the care and attention they showed our child. Our child has a strong personal bond with her key worker and loves the bubbly staff. She always comes home smiling!
We just started but the staff have been very attentive to my son's needs. They have helped him integrate with other children.
The best nursery! My daughter is very happy. I can see her progress in everything: in English as we are from another country, in making friends with children, in communicating with adults, in learning rules. I am very glad I chose this nursery. PS The morning tea and snacks are time savers!
Good experience and my daughter loves it so much and she’s comfortable being there. Good, friendly staff, good service and management. I’m glad that I chose it for my daughter. I’m happy as my daughter is.
The staff are welcoming and friendly to both myself and my baby. They are very efficient and picked up on certain behaviours that my daughter was showing and put a plan in place quickly for her to work on it. The nursery is clean and tidy and I am very happy I put my daughter there.
My son was transferred to Busy Bees from a different nursery in May 2023 and so far I’ve been really happy with his progress. He settled in quickly thanks to the staff members who have looked after him well enough to make him feel comfortable. I'm happy with the facilities and the fact that the rooms and floors are clean and well looked after. The outdoor space is great with lots of activities to do and my son is very excited whenever he is taken out in the garden. Staff members as well as senior members are friendly and they communicate well with parents.
A fantastic nursery. My daughter joined Busy Bees Mottingham in July 2023 when she was 14 months. Having been a bit apprehensive about starting nursery, I was very reassured by a thorough settling-in period that was arranged during the 2 weeks leading up to her first day. All of the staff are so friendly and caring. There is a good variety of toys and the children do lots of messy play, crafts and baking. The outdoor space is brilliant!
My children are very well looked after and always come back exceptionally happy.
Always feel our child is well taken care of and they really like the team.
My son has thrived at the nursery and made some good friends. The garden is very good and he loves playing outside. Management communicate well and there has been a visible change in the nursery since the new manager took over.
Due to moving out of the area, my son only attended Busy Bees London Mottingham for a few weeks but we have been so happy with the level of care provided for him and we are sorry he has to leave! The staff are always so friendly and reassuring (particularly as our son tends to be very unsettled in the mornings) and he always seems to have a fantastic day. Even in the short time he has been there, we have seen wonderful progress in his sleeping and eating habits during and outside of nursery and we really enjoyed getting the daily updates on the app for peace of mind. The space, both inside and out, is well set up and offers a variety of activities. Thank you to the lovely staff at Busy Bees!
I witnessed my 11-month-old son picking up toys from the floor that shoes were allowed and putting them in his mouth. In the garden, there were a lot of dry leaves that my son was putting in his mouth. I took them off his hands and stopped him from eating them but when I was filling in the forms the staff wouldn’t stop him. So he ended up eating a few leaves. The next day I spoke to the director. The reply I got was that we let babies explore. I said explore by eating dry leaves? she said yes we even bring leaves indoors and let them explore and play. I stayed in the parent's room where the director came and asked me why I was nervous but she dismissed me once again insisting that babies exploring is okay. 1.5 hrs later a staff member told me that my son was crying. I realized that he had diarrhoea and the staff did not check to change his nappy. I changed his nappy and noticed a red bump on his forehead that I was not told he had or what happened. I would not recommend this nursery.
