The wooden house have been very good, setting sessions were good with good communication from the staff when handover and picking up child. You also get photos of what the cold has been doing throughout the child's day is a bonus.

My son came to Wooden House in July 2025 after having been at a previous nursery which he had loved. We were sad to move him but all the staff were brilliant in supporting us all with the transition particularly their fantastic manager who would check in regularly as he was struggling to settle. He loves the activities they plan and the great space outdoors and has built a good relationship with the staff, especially his fantastic key worker who he adores. I would highly recommend Wooden House. Some nurseries might look fancier or have more space/resources but this place is all about the people and I know my son is cared for, listened to and supported to grow and develop. Thank you

My daughter has settled well at Wooden House and has been supported by the staff well to adjust to the setting. She is gaining confidence and enjoys the outside space. It is a lovely location with helpful and kind staff.

The Wooden House Nursery is a wonderful setting with a variety of different activities and places for the children to explore and grow. All the staff are incredibly friendly, communicative and helpful, and have helped our daughter settle into nursery life really well. I would highly recommend them!

Our son has just left Wooden House to start school in September after attending the nursery for 2.5years. He is an incredibly shy and cautious child and all the staff were hugely supportive and understanding of this, allowing him to build his confidence in his own time. The setting is perfect, with lovely access to the garden and also an outside covered area, which was fantastic for our son who loves being outdoors. Everyday they had a great range of fun and educational activities for the children which was perfect in developing key skills and setting him up for the next step. The manager was always very responsive and helpful to any queries we had. I would definitely recommend Wooden House.

Our little boy has just left Wooden House but we have been very happy with his time here. Being an outdoor boy meant he loved the setting as there is both an outside play area and an undercover area to play in and this was what he enjoyed. He loved the friends he made during his time here and appreciated all the support he was given from the staff, when at times he struggled being dropped off. At pick up he was always very happy and we know he was engaged in all the fun activities that the staff planned so well. Seeing the pictures each day also highlighted the fact that he enjoyed his time there. His development, both socially and academically has definitely come on leaps and bounds during his time here. He is now much more prepared for starting school, and we are grateful to all the staff for this.

We're so glad we chose Wooden House Nursery for our daughter. She's very shy and takes a while to engage with people but she settled in quickly at the setting, thanks to the care and support of the staff. There's always a wide range of activities for the children to take part in, which are well thought out and links to their developmental progress. The outdoor space is ideal, with plenty of room and lots of different areas to explore, such as the sandpit, slide and 'ice cream shop' (which the children were involved in designing the signs, ice creams and doughnuts). If the weather's too hot/cold they're also able to play in the barn - a covered outdoor area where there's lots more toys and activities to explore. The app (used to update parents) is fantastic and is updated throughout the day. All the staff are really caring and provide such warmth to the children that they are able to build trusting relationships, putting them in good stead for when they start school.

We are absolutely thrilled with our choice of Nursery. The setting is based surrounded by stunning national trust land and opposite a farm with ample out door and undercover space to play in all weathers. My little boy started in November and settled beautifully forming bonds with the wonderful friendly staff and making friends quickly. My son excitedly comes home telling me what he has learned in his day which is always backed up by photographs of the children's day on the well utilised Family app. The staff equally enthusiastically greet him in the morning and ask him about his time away from the setting which he thrives on. The manager is incredibly knowledgeable and always happy to engage with any questions parents might have. I sincerely believe that wooden house has prepared my son beautifully for school and has more than contributed to the excited engaging little boy I will be sending into school in September.

Since my daughter started wooden house the staff have been brilliant in getting her settled and enjoying the setting. She now really looks forward to going in and has a really great time. Great variation of activities and we have seen her improve with her playing and talking since she started. Can't wait to see what else there is for her to do.

We can't rate Wooden House Nursery and the team highly enough. They took the time to help my daughter settle into the environment when she found the initial transition into nursery a little challenging. They have worked with me to find the best approach for her and provided her with lots of comfort and support. Our daughter now really enjoys her time at nursery and has built lovely bonds with her carers. The team provide lots of varied and fun activities for the children and monitors their development closely. We are really glad we chose Wooden House, I know our daughter is not only safe and genuinely cared for but is also thriving in an engaging setting.

I cannot express how delighted we are to have stumbled across this little gem of a nursery. The staff are all really friendly and professional, they really know their stuff anre helpful and kind. My son loves his time here. His peach has come on leaps and bounds. He called himself sweet heart when talking about himself at home, something he has picked up here which says wonders for how they treat the kids. He also has allergies and they make me feel incredibly safe leaving him in their care and don't let him feel left out of activities. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I am so so pleased I decided to send my little girl to wooden house. They are so welcoming and great with all the children. They get to know every child's individually and understand their needs. Great place!

This nursery has been amazing for both my children, there was no question that my second child would be attending this nursery. The staff are extremely professional and I feel at ease that my leaving my child in there safe hands. The setting is also perfect, lots of outdoor space and the occasional trip to the farm:) I couldn't recommend it enough. A***

Wooden House Nursery has been an incredibly welcoming environment for my little boy. The staff have been so caring and attentive with him and he loves the access to the outdoor space. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

From the moment I approached this Nursery, the manager and her team made me and the little one feel very welcome. The settle-in sessions went well and we are now 9 months in of my great niece (for which I am guardian of) going to Wooden House Nursery and she loves every day she goes. She is now 19 months old and attends 3 days a week. The staff are friendly and get to know each child on an individual basis. The staff keep me updated with their progress throughout the day with updates via the app and conversations at drop off and pick. On pick-up little miss is always smiling and happy which is down to the staff and the care and activities they provide.

Wooden House have been fantastic at welcoming my daughter to their setting. They took time to get to know and understand her which helped her settle quickly. She always leaves very happy and proudly tells us about her friends and the activities they have been doing.

Both my kids absolutely love Wooden House Nursery. The staff are always so welcoming and attentive to the children's needs. When settling both kids in the staff made an effort to do activities and play with their favourite toys to help them feel more comfortable. They enjoy a wide range of activities and being outdoor kind of kids, they love the large outdoor play area and the outdoor undercover barn, which ensures they can get outside whatever the weather! Couldn't be happier with this nursery

My son started at Wooden House in September and I cannot recommend this nursery enough! The staff are super friendly and approachable - my son absolutely loves them and will go to them in the mornings with no issues and big smiles. When I pick him up every day, they tell me in detail about how his day has been and I love the fact that they're constantly updating me on the app about how his day is going/sending pics to show what activities he's been enjoying. The range of activities they offer the children, from plenty of time outside, to problem-solving challenges (my son is only 15 months old and he is tackling challenges already due to their support), they know how to help children grow and succeed. My son has developed massively in the short time he's been at nursery and this is something I see continuing due to the staff's curriculum knowledge and understanding of each child's ability/interests. I know my son has enjoyable experiences every day! I'm so glad I chose Wooden House.

I have found Wooden House to be extremely helpful and often go the extra mile in their care for my daughter. I'm very happy with the care she has received over the last 2 years. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would not hesitate to recommend it. The nursery itself was quite a long drive from our home, but I feel it has been worth it. I feel the nursery is very well run and organised. There is good feedback on development, etc.

Wooden House has supported our child with patience and compassion. I feel like I really know what he's up to and the big outdoor space suited him well. The office and senior team are really organised and professional which makes them easy to work with. I always feel like they'll know the answers to queries. Thanks for everything.
