I cannot recommend Munchkins at Brightlingsea enough. My daughter comes out happy every day and has grown in so much confidence. She comes out telling us about what she's done during the day and we are amazed at the opportunities she has.

My son is having such a fantastic time in pre school. He is really starting to build friendships with other children and is so enthusiastic to go and play. He eats really well and nursery and I see so many lovely activities through his tapestry which he has been up too. My son has developed so so much since starting with munchkins and is absolutely thriving!!

My 1 year old twins have been coming to Munchkins Nursery Brightlingsea since they turned 9 months old. They have been so happy and content here that I have upped their hours. The care has been second to none and they have helped me in supporting their weaning journey which I have found the most difficult. Thank you Munchkins!

Brilliant nursery, all the staff are amazing, cannot fault them after 2 and a half years, enjoyed every minute of it, would recommend Munchkins to anybody with kids, brilliant place, you will not be disappointed.

My daughter is in her 4th and last year at Munchkins in Brightlingsea. She is so ready for school and that's down to all the support and Ready Steady School programmes they have in place. She started in the baby room and the staff team worked so closely with her, showing patience and kindness everyday. They built her confidence at nursery and she's now thriving more than ever in their preschool room. We can't thank them enough for the relationships she's built and for all that she has learnt through play.

Our little one has been going to Munchkins Nursery & Pre-School since the beginning of September 2024. She's gone from only just crawling to walking and somewhat talking in the space of 3 months! She loves her key person. When I say to her on a Tuesday morning, shall we go and see your key person? She bounces up and down on the spot with a smile until I open the door and get her in the car. She comes back happy and well fed after every nursery session and more often than not sleeps the whole night through and sometimes sleeps in! I love the app and getting to see what she's doing/eating throughout the day. The only thing is, quite often the pictures and comment don't always load until the end of the week, but I'm not sure if that's just the app itself. Overall I couldn't recommend Munchkins more, it's a great place for kids to learn and grow!

My son recently started back at Munchkins (previously went to the nursery but in the baby room a couple of years back). He has slotted straight in with the help of the amazing staff and his key worker who is so lovely. My son enjoys his time at Munchkins and I have such peace of mind knowing that when I drop him off for his session he always has so much fun. He has progressed massively in such a short time regarding recognising his emotions and his imaginative play, I can't wait to see what the rest of this year holds for him at Munckins!

Our son has been attending Munchkins Brightlingsea now for about 5 months and we couldn't be happier. Our child doesn't talk yet so we gauge his happiness on his reactions and our little man couldn't be any quicker to leave our arms to go to nursery! We get lots of updates through the app and his care diary is always regularly updated. We've had lots of lovely artwork and photos of his time playing and he has developed so much since attending. Our child's room leaders and staff are wonderful and always give me a rundown of his day at pick-up time. He absolutely loves all of them and they clearly love him too! Our child has multiple allergies and severe eczema and this is managed brilliantly whilst he is there. They have made sure he has his own food and thoroughly cleaned up after lunch and snack time to make sure he can't find other children's food! This has been a real relief for me as I had been so worried about managing this in a nursery setting. I highly recommend this nursery.

My 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son attend Brightlingsea Munchkins Nursery & Preschool and absolutely love it. The staff are phenomenal! The range of activities and learning experiences designed for the children are outstanding and I plan to continue using the nursery for wrap around care when my daughter starts school in September!

My son is 2 and attends Munchkins Nursery and he absolutely loves it, he comes back from every session having learnt something new that day. Nothing but good things to say about the nursery and the lovely staff. Sending your little ones off to be in someone else’s care can be really hard but I always send him in without a worry in my mind, knowing he’s in the absolute best hands.

My munchkin is 4 in February and she will be off to school in 2024. I have received a little video of her practising her writing (tracing) as well as saying numbers. Even though I have been trying to do this at home, it is at nursery where she learns the most. She sits and sings, she reads to her teddies and it is all thanks to the wonderful staff at Munchkins Nursery & Pre-School Brightlingsea.

Our daughter loves going to nursery every day. Her growth and development have been amazing to see and so much of that is down to the staff and set up at Munchkins. They are so attentive and caring. The updates are so fun to see and the updates at pick-up time are invaluable. The support and advice the staff have given us as parents (for example, with potty training) has also been fantastic! Thank you Munchkins!

The staff here are kind, professional and very knowledgeable, they treat both my children with kindness, respect and affection, and both have developed excellent relationships with their key people. My eldest excitedly describes her nursery adventures and has developed lots of new skills such as writing and recognising letters etc. The little one smiles and toddles in without a backwards glance. Leaving them happy whilst off for a day at work is to me priceless. The staff are also brilliant at communicating, dealing with illness, incidents etc, and have been brilliant with accommodating our dietary preferences. At end of the day, I feel they are really well supported with their social and emotional development and they are safe and happy. What more could you want?

Our daughter started at Munchkins Brightlingsea in September (she was 10 months) and the staff have gone above and beyond in helping her to settle in - we all know what it is like when a little one starts nursery. After half a term and a period of illness (where again the team were fantastic), my child now loves going to nursery and reaches out for staff as I drop her off in the morning. It is great to see what she has been up to on the app each day. We are also enjoying the signs to the nursery rhymes she is learning alongside the new words! My wife and I are so impressed - we would highly recommend this nursery!

Both my children attended Munchkins. They both benefitted so much from the Munchkins teams, who have helped them grow as individuals to explore nature and have a constant curiosity about everything! They've also learned to use their voices and knowledge to grow independence. As a parent, I absolutely have always loved and thanked Munchkins, with constant communication and making sure both the nursery and home lives matched for the smoothest experience for the kiddos. Highly recommended!

My son has absolutely loved his time at Munchkins Nursery. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming and even on mornings he has been slightly upset going in, it has been very short-lived and he is soon having the best time playing in the garden. The setting is wonderful and all the equipment in the garden is amazing.

The staff at Munchkins are brilliant and super friendly. Our little one is babbling so much since joining and crawling and growing in confidence with new people. He is so happy to go in and I always pick him up and he has the biggest smile on his face. The photos and updates during the day are brilliant which helped so much especially during his early days to see how he was coping. The food and meals they provide the little ones is amazing and he eats so well. We couldn't fault the staff they are so caring to all kids.

Positive and happy experience with Munchkins! They know and understand my mummy worries with having a baby in their setting. Also, I have my toddler there as well, he always comes home happy! He has come home having learnt new things every week! My baby always eats very well and both kids' pictures are showing them enjoying their days!

Amazing nursery and professional welcoming staff. My son has really progressed since starting at Munchkins Nursery, especially with his speech and there are so many opportunities for him. The staff are so understanding and have created a safe friendly environment. Highly recommended nursery!

Highly recommended. My daughter enjoys it a lot and she always shares with me what fun she has at the nursery. She’s making friends with other children and teachers at the nursery which I think it’s the best part, showing how well she fits in and I guess it results from the hard work of the staff team.

My son has absolutely loved his time at Munchkins Nursery.
