Woodlands is a fantastic nursery. My older son and two nieces attended in the past and all had great experiences. My younger son goes now and absolutely loves it. The staff are so kind, approachable, and genuinely caring with the children. They always create such imaginative, engaging activities and
share lovely updates, photos and descriptions throughout the day so you always feel connected. We choose to travel further, even though there are nurseries closer to home, because the wonderful atmosphere and high standard of care at Woodlands are unmatched. Thank you so much to all of the ladies for everything you do.

Moving our little boy to "The Woodlands" has been the best decision. He previously had a bad experience at another nursery and it took a very long time and multiple nursery visits to find a place where he really settled and I felt comfortable with leaving him.
The staff here have shown such
kindness and patience towards him which has enabled his confidence to really grow. It is heart warming to see how much he now loves attending nursery and looks forwards to spending his days with familiar faces filled with such a huge variety of activities.
I can't thank the staff enough for their fantastic approach to settling him in - no matter how long that took!
We receive regular communications from the nursery regarding what they've been up to during their days too which is so great.
If I could give more than 5 stars I could! A fantastic place to send your little one.

We could not be happier with our daughter's experience at The Woodlands. From the moment she started, she has felt safe, secure and genuinely happy there. She absolutely adores the nursery ladies and it is clear how much they care about every child. She has made so many lovely friends and talks
about them all the time at home. The range of activities is fantastic, with plenty of variety that supports learning, creativity and confidence while still being lots of fun. Every day feels thoughtfully planned and engaging. Communication with home is excellent and we always feel well informed and reassured about her day, her progress and her wellbeing. It gives us complete peace of mind knowing she is so well looked after in such a warm, nurturing environment. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of The Woodlands and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Our daughter has settled into Woodlands nursery so quickly. I had some worries about her starting nursery, but she has taken to it so well, she runs up to the door in the morning and is in so fast!
It's lovely to see the updates from the staff in the app, and collecting her at the end of the day,
we get told what she's been up to with her friends, and it's always been a busy day.
The staff are so attentive to her needs, offering support with development, such as starting potty training, but also her love of books and messy play. You can tell how much the staff love her, especially her Key Worker.
I'm so happy that we found Woodlands, and already want our newborn to attend when the time comes.

Since my daughter started this nursery she has gained so much more confidence, she's a very outgoing mini human and the woodlands really do push her to keep being herself rather then toning it down. My daughter comes home grinning ear to ear and talks about how much of a good day she's had and how
the girls (staff) all care about her and her friends.
The care that the staff give to the children is outstanding, I'm so grateful for them.
One thing that has really stuck with my daughter is knowing the emergency phone number and when/how to use it. The staff have really put in 100% of their time and effort into really teaching our future generation real life skills.
My daughter has also struggled with her eating since being a year old (now 4) and nothing would help her try new foods, however since being at the woodlands she's tried so many new foods and has started asking for it at home too.

Since our son started at The Woodlands Nursery we have seen a massive improvement in all areas of his development. He's welcomed every morning by a lady from from his room, he happily says goodbye and walks in.At home he chats about all of the special ladies and recaps his day. He just beams going
and gets excited when we park up for drop off. They provide a wide range of activities to meet the developmental milestones. Also extra days out, trips and special visits from outside companies. We've been beyond happy since he started and we can't wait to see him flourish.

My daughter has been going to Woodlands for about half a year now after her old one was closed by Ofsted. It was a really worrying time for me and my husband as we had our trust broken by the old one. However our trust and faith was restored when we started sending our child to Woodlands. They do so
much with the children and feed them properly especially nutritionally, we love seeing the whole day on the app where we are kept up to date all the time. Our daughter doesn't even say good bye to us she goes straight in. We love the activities they plan on the days she goes in. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the childcare area itself is always clean and lovely
We are so glad we fount woodlands as we was so nervous from our past experience with our child's other nursery I just wish we had sent her there to begin with. It's just nice to know when I'm at work I know my child is safe and fed properly as well as kept warm and dry in the bad weather .

My daughter has been at the Woodlands nursery since April 2025 and we couldn't be happier with the care that they have provided to her.
Specifically, the ladies in the baby room are a huge credit to the team. They are kind, welcoming and caring. They have been attentive to our daughters needs
and she absolutely adores them. She asks to see them on the days when she isnt going to nursery.
The ladies keep us updated, providing lovely photographs of her day and giving us a comprehensive debrief of her full day at pick up. We really appreciate the extra time that they put into this.
Their imaginative play ideas keep our daughter interested and give her the opportunity to learn things that she wouldn't at home, while still having loads of fun. She has absolutely flourished since being in the baby room, in confidence and happiness.
We couldn't be happier with the baby room, and look forward to our second daughter joining this year

My son started the woodlands this month after joining before I return to work after maternity leave. Naturally I was nervous as my son is younger than when my daughter started here but from the moment my son entered the baby room any nerves disappeared straight away. All staff members go above and
beyond for us all as a family, the reassurance and support for the transition is absolutely brilliant. Staff are always on happy to give updates and check ins. All members of staff go above and out of their own way to get to know you all. One thing I constantly pride myself on is our decision to use this nursery! Absolutely no concerns whatsoever and would recommend this home from home nursery to anyone. 5 stars always! Thank you again to all staff for the love compassion and care they give to my little humans, every day! Brilliant staff, brilliant nursery!

My daughter has been going to the woodlands for almost 3 months, all the ladies are amazing, they are so kind and caring and are so dedicated to all the children that attend. They show my daughter love and patience every time she goes. She has learnt so much whilst being there in such a short time.
I couldn't of picked a better nursery for her to attend!
It's a brilliant place to send your children.

My little girl started at the woodlands in January and her confidence has grown so much. The staff are doing an amazing job in supporting her needs both emotionally and developmentally. I get constant detailed updates on her day and she always looks so happy doing a range of different activities.
I've never felt so comfortable leaving her somewhere and I definitely hope for her little sister to attend in the future when the time comes :)

We moved our son to The Woodlands from another setting and since starting here he is thriving. He now runs into nursery which I never thought I would see happen! He absolutely loves going to nursery and always comes home having learnt something new. The staff are amazing, I couldn't wish for better

Our child has settled into this setting amazingly, due to the huge amount of kindness and support he has received during his time at The Woodlands. He is learning so much to help him feel more confident and comfortable when he transitions into Primary school this coming September!

My child moved here from another nursery after some concerns. She has settled in so well and loves going to nursery! The staff are amazing and it is like one big family for all the children. They play outside even in the Autumn and Winter which I think is so important. They also go on some fantastic
trips out and explore the local area. My child loves the food which is healthy and nutritious. I couldn't be happier sending my child there, thank you.

We love Woodlands. The staff and the rest of the team are fantastic and our little dude has the best time there. He loves all the fun activities they set out and he comes away showing off his new skills and chatting away about his amazing day. He's thriving, thank you.

I absolutely love this nursery, but more importantly, my son loves it too! I'm incredibly impressed with their 'can-do' attitude. The staff regularly takes the children on trips to the library and walks around the nearby fields. Almost every time I pick up my little one, he's playing outside, rain
or shine. As a former nursery assistant myself, I understand the effort it takes to get a group of young children dressed and ready for outdoor play, so I really appreciate their dedication.
Anytime I've had a question or request, it's been addressed within a day or two. The nursery is small, and I never hear any unanswered cries, which speaks to how attentive they are. The staff make me feel completely at ease when I leave my child in their care.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with The Woodlands Nursery! My daughter started only a short time ago and I can't believe how quickly she settled into the room and loves every second of nursery. The nursery is in a beautiful location and I just love how homely it feels. Every member of
staff has been so welcoming to not only my daughter, but the rest of the family too. I love all the updates I get daily with pictures of my little one having the best time. She always looks so safe and happy. I can't put into words just how grateful we are for everything everybody does at this setting. It's really reassuring to know our baby is happy and safe even out of my care.

This is an excellent nursery with highly trained professionals. The care and attention shown to each child as an individual is second to none. The communication home in person at handovers and via the formal care diary and daily activity log serves not only as an accurate record of the day, but also
as a bank of wonderful photos and memories documenting developmental milestones and learning. The curriculum is well planned and staff are organised. This results in outstanding learning opportunities for children. My child's speech and language, gross motor skills and independence when taking on responsibilities in particular have advanced and blossomed since joining this nursery. Children feel safe and at ease when they follow predictable routines, and The Woodlands places emphasis on routines to help children be successful. Meal times are spent together at the table, positive values are instilled early, and most importantly of all, my child comes home with a beaming smile every day.

We love Woodlands Nursery! The best thing about it are the staff who work there - each of them being approachable, kind, understanding and supportive. They all have a genuine love of working with children and ensure they have positive and nurturing relationships with each of them. Our girls love
going to nursery and have such an enjoyable time! From a parent perspective, every interaction is a positive experience. A special mention to the baby room who really go above and beyond to ensure the best possible start to nursery life - we are very grateful for this!
