Amazing staff are always cheerful and friendly in the morning drop off, making you feel at ease leaving your child with them. My child always has good things to say about the nursery, he enjoys playing with his friends and engaging in activities (he especially loves the indoor soft play facility). His speech and language has come along nicely since starting this September, I did have concerns initially with his speech development, but the setting has brought him out of his shell and allowed him to learn from some of the older children. Cannot praise the staff enough for their hard work and dedication. The management have also been very accommodating for me, being a single parent and a full-time student has been a challenge in itself but the management team has always been on hand to be supportive and kind towards me, which really goes a long way.

My son attends this nursery 3 days a week and loves it. He has come on so much since starting - his speech is incredible, his ability to play and learn is a huge credit to the staff and their interactions. The staff are caring and compassionate, and always friendly. I really get a sense that the staff all know my son and his personality - and care for him as an individual as well as all of the other children. He has never had a bad day here. He has recently transitioned rooms, which has been seamless - I'd say largely because of the mangagement of this transition by the staff - he has regularly been upstairs prior to moving and we've had no issues. The food he gets is great, really varied and he enjoys eating all of it! The outdoor space at the back is what we fell in love with when we booked his place here, he loves being outdoors. The nursery also has a soft play room, which my son loves!

My daughter started at Park Wood Day Nursery in November 2024, and as a first-time mum, I was really anxious about leaving her. The amazing girls in the baby room - Caoimhe, Megan, and Tori instantly put me at ease and were always so reassuring, even letting me call the nursery to check in. Now that my daughter has moved up to the Rabbit Room, she still absolutely loves going to nursery. I'll admit, I felt a little anxious again about the transition, but the wonderful team - Ellie, Megan, Molly, and Kim have been fantastic. They've made the change such a positive experience for both of us. Every single person at the nursery works so hard and always has a smile on their face, which makes such a difference. You can really see how much they all care about the children. I can't thank all the staff enough for their kindness, support, and the genuine care they show every day. It means so much to know my daughter is so happy and well looked after.

Park Wood has been a special part of our family's journey since our son first attended, and we were so happy when our daughter joined in 2022. From the very beginning, our experience has been nothing but positive. The staff are not only attentive but truly caring, always tuned in to what the children need to feel safe, supported, and happy. What's meant the most to us is how approachable everyone is. There's a real sense of openness and honesty in the way they communicate, which has made us feel heard and reassured every step of the way. We're so grateful to be part of the Park Wood community.

Partou Park Wood Day Nursery & Forest School has been the most amazing nursery for our two children over the past three years. The manager and staff always go above and beyond to ensure the children are happy, supported and welcomed to the nursery. Any minor issues we've ever had have been dealt with promptly and I've always felt the nursery have listened to our views and how we would like our children to be cared for. Our little boy has come on so much over the past year especially in preschool socially, cognitively and with his communication. The nursery team have helped him become confident and an individual who cares a lot about others and loves being around the team and children at Parkwood. Our daughter started a few months ago and the ladies in the baby room have helped with her settling in and she loves coming to nursery. I've always felt listened to and that each member really cared for our children.. We never hesitate to recommend the nursery to others.

I couldn't be happier with the outstanding service and care provided by this nursery. The staff are incredibly attentive, nurturing, and professional, creating a warm and welcoming environment for children. Their dedication to ensuring each child's well-being and development is truly commendable. It's clear they genuinely care about what they do, and their 5-star service reflects that perfectly. Highly recommend to any parent looking for exceptional childcare! My daughter was 3 months premature and because of that she needs to have certain things adapted to match her corrected age rather than the age she is. The nursery have done this without any question, nothing was too much. They have adapted menus, activities etc. to accommodate her. My only issue is that the portal isn't always updated with everything that has happened that day, however, I would much rather the girls be taking care of the children than sat on an tablet!

I am very happy with the care and provision provided for my daughter at Patou Park Wood Day Nursery. She has been attending since she was 8 months old and I always feel happy and reassured handing her over to staff. They really care about the children and make sure stimulating and engaging activities are always planned to support their development. Communication from the nursery is clear and regular and the manager is approachable and present within the setting. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My child started at Parkwood in September 2024 into hedgehogs. She settled straight away and this was down to the girls building up a bond with her on her settles and reassuring me as a parent. Couldn't speak highly enough of the setting and would recommend it to any prospective parent.

Park Wood has been absolutely amazing the whole time my daughter has attended. The staff are so lovely and really couldn't have done more when helping my daughter transition back to nursery after a year in hospital. The little touches such as taking 5 minutes to do her hair in the morning and giving her an extra cuddle to help her feel settled at drop off made such a difference. I really can't rate this nursery enough, we are very sad to be leaving for school in September.

Our little girl joined Park Wood in March when she was 13 months old. She joined just as I was returning to work. The team at Park Wood really went above and beyond to help both myself and my little girl feel at ease. The girls in the baby room really couldn't have done enough for our little one and they helped her to settle really quickly. We have seen our little girl come on so fast since she joined Park Wood and she goes in with a huge smile on her face. Our daughter has since moved to the next room and she has amazing relationships with the girls which is so lovely to see. We love that our little girl gets to spend so much time outside too which was one of the reasons we chose Park Wood. There is always so much variety in regard to activities and our little one loves enjoying messy play. Our little girl also has a flexi place which makes managing shift work so much easier and once less stressful to worry about. Thank you so much Park Wood!

I highly recommend Park Wood Day Nursery, it is an excellent nursery with lovely staff & management. They have a lovely outdoor play area as well as a wooded area for the little ones to explore. My daughter has attended preschool for 2 years from the age of 3, she has Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and when she started she was non-verbal, the staff have helped her incredibly, and she has come on leaps and bounds now being able to put words into sentences. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for her and I'm sad to see her leave but because of the staff, she is now ready to go onto her next journey to school.

So many good things I can say about Park Wood - both me and my son are treated like we are part of the Park Wood family! The staff have always made me feel reassured, he loves arriving in the morning and always has the biggest smile on his face when we pick him up. Would recommend this nursery to anyone - made the transition from maternity leave to going back to work so much easier than ever anticipated.

A lovely nursery with wonderful staff. My daughter started in January and has come along so well, she is always so excited to go to nursery! Such a lovely environment for children especially with the outdoor setting. Would recommend this nursery to everyone.

Staff are fantastic. Baby loves attending nursery and has a really strong bond with everyone, especially his key worker! Since starting nursery he has really grown into his own little person, becoming independent and strong-minded which is wonderful to see. Highly recommended!

My daughter has been attending Park Wood for a year now. I have moved out of the area in this time but kept her there due to how well she has progressed and how much she enjoys it. She started in the baby room which is run tremendously and good staffing-to-child ratio. There was appropriate integration with the toddler room as well and due to this my daughter made a successful transition. The setting is in the middle of Bidston Woods therefore there is plenty of surrounding space to explore and learn outdoors. There is an indoor soft play as well which my daughter loves. Nursery nurses know my daughter well and she shows good bonds with key staff. Communication is very good - staff are clearly committed and will accommodate requests best they can. My daughter has a flexible rotation in place which as a working mum juggling life is a godsend. Fees on an all inclusive basis is excellent value for money. My daughter loves the meals on offer and never comes home hungry.

Lovely nursery, staff are all really friendly, caring, and go above and beyond tailoring to the childs needs. They engage closely with the children, who have the same carers each week. Nice big rooms, lots of activities, and a great outdoor space under the trees. Happy to use our reusable nappies, and to use baby sign with our toddler.

My experience with Park Wood Nursery is very positive. My son wakes up the morning of nursery and loves that he’s going in, no problems at all since my son started. His progress has been amazing, he’s spoken more, knows what more things are every week and the staff are always up to date with the learning book app.

Park Wood have amazing with me since my little boy started at 9 months. He's come on lots and is better with people as he's very shy. Staff are amazing also, a great team and I felt at ease leaving my little boy to go back to work.

Our little boy started in November 2022 at 17 months. When we first came to visit we were immediately struck by how friendly and well equipped the place seemed and in such a lovely setting. There was a feeling of happy activity. It is extremely child led and gentle and we have been fully supported with some tricky settling in and separation anxiety at the beginning. As such a huge decision for any parent, we are thrilled with our choice and extremely grateful to everyone at the nursery for providing such exemplary care of our son.
