Blackshaw Nursery have amazing staff - kind, attentive and truly caring. They are a proactive and imaginative. The variety of activities is fantastic, the outdoor space is large and we value their more traditional approach to daily feed back which feels personal and meaningful. As a non-profit
nursery, there are areas like ICT that could benefit from funding, but we actively appreciate their minimal use of technology - it allows the children to simply play, interact and be children.
We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a caring environment, one where staff care for their children as if they were their own. We highly recommend to any parent looking for a caring, supportive and enriching environment.

Very kind staff and family atmosphere. I can't really fault the nursery, my daughter is very happy there, and I am always struck by the kindness and positive relationship between the staff and the children. There seems to be plenty of activities, with toys swapped and changed out regularly, and
plenty of arts and crafts for all different holidays during the year. The nursery is very multicultural and has a very inclusive atmosphere, and we get good communication and feedback from the staff and management.

Blackshaw Nursery has been so much more than a nursery to our family-it has been our village.
Both of my children have attended since September 2019, and the care, warmth, and dedication of the staff have been extraordinary. As a foreign family without relatives nearby, this has been the one place
where we could leave our children with complete peace of mind, knowing they were safe, happy, and truly thriving.
Our children have grown in confidence, curiosity, and kindness, and we are deeply grateful to everyone at Blackshaw for the role they've played in that.
As our youngest prepares to leave this August, it's incredibly emotional to say goodbye to a place that has meant so much to us. Blackshaw has been a true gift to our family.

I have been using the nursery since June 2018 for my 2 children and continue to use it now. It is absolutely brilliant. Loving, kind, flexible and warm environment. Long-standing staff who seem to love the kids and are very patient. Lots of celebrations throughout the year. Big fun outdoor area.
Never worry about my children during the working day knowing that they are being looked after with love and care, which is invaluable when missing out on a lot as working parents.

Blackshaw Nursery is a wonderful, caring and stimulating environment with experienced staff and a fantastic outdoor play space. Our son loves it there - the staff provide a range of great activities, development and messy play.
Many of the staff have been there for many years and take great care
and pride in all the children. The nursery is small, so all the children are well known. Since attending, our son's development has come on in leaps and bounds and he looks forward to going every day. I highly recommend the nursery.
