My daughter is 9 months old and has just started in the nursery. The staff have been very welcoming and friendly, and updates through the app in the day has really eased my anxiety as a first time parent. Excited to see how much further my child develops in this setting.

My son has been at Selca 5 days a week full days for nearly 2 years now and has grown leaps and bounds! He absolutely loves the staff there and his classmates and is very sociable and sweet with everyone. His speech is brilliant thanks to the staff and he's always learning something new every week
that he tells me about. His confidence has grown so much too. He has a blast with the crafts and loves the food there, where he always has seconds! The app is brilliant and I'm always checking it daily on what he's been up to, liking pics of him and his activities, seeing how long he's napped , how much he has eaten etc. I love hearing about how his day has gone when I pick him up and also find comfort knowing he's well looked after. It's brill to see him enjoying every moment! It's well worth the money in my eyes. It would be great to have more day trips out for him to experience new environments with his friends- would be my only suggestion. Thanks so much ladies! :)

Selca Llanharan is a fantastic nursery. My little boy has thrived in the environment, and absolutely adores each member of staff. Since he joined over a year ago, his confidence, speech and social skills have improved so much and it's a real relief to know how well looked after he is. As a working
mum, it's so hard to know what is the right thing for your babies, and without a doubt Selca is absolutely the right thing for us!

I have to say Selca has been absolutely fantastic with my son, he loves it from the second he steps through the door to not wanting to leave when he gets picked up! All staff, including management, are amazing with all the children and are very supportive with the kids education and preparing them
for primary school!
The app is used and the staff update this regularly so you can check throughout the day. I absolutely love this as I can see how much my food monster is eating! I cannot fault this setting, every child is supported, loved and looked after and I will be gutted when my son has to leave to go mainstream nursery.
Finally, the pricing for the effort and engagement put in by the staff is by far the best out there! I'm aware that in the local area some other settings are more expensive, but this should not put other parents off when it comes to Selca Llanharan. All staff (especially Sarah and Abby, Emma and Millie) should be so proud of of the care and effort they put in!

As parents, we are truly thrilled with the service the nursery provides for us and our twins. The staff are so friendly, our boys love the food and activities they do during their time there. Above all, what stands above the rest is the clear bond our twins have with the staff. In a very short space
of time from starting nursery, our twins became so comfortable with the setting and the staff. We drop them off and they don't look back. The photos we receive during their days there show for themselves how much of a great time they're having. When you're a full time working parent and receive photos like that, it's so comforting and reassuring. The staff have also been amazing with us as parents. Whenever we've had any queries, they've always been so supportive and have got back to us in a timely manner.

My daughter has been attending selca nursery since she was nine months old. She's now 2 1/2 and absolutely loves it. She adores all the staff and I love the photo updates and you can see exactly what they've eaten on their app

We were pretty sure we wanted our little one to go to Selca and our visit when I was pregnant only confirmed that. It's such a lovely setting and the staff do an incredible job of looking after the children. My little one has settled in so well and I can see how comfortable he is with the staff. I
absolutely love getting updates throughout the day via the app. The range of food served is fantastic too, my little one gets so much variety. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Selca to anybody looking for a nursery for their little one.

As a first time parent returning to work, I was so worried at the thought of leaving my child at nursery. Since being there, his development and confidence has come on so much. He can't wait to get there every day and I can drop him off knowing that he's safe, happy and adored by all the staff at

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. Even on weekends she wants to go! She talks very highly of the staff there and always comes back happy. I love the regular photo updates throughout the day. My daughter has been to 2 nurseries prior to this due to house moves and she has been most
settled in this one and it has definitely been the most informative about what she has got up to and eaten that day which I really appreciate.

This nursery is absolutely wonderful! They have developed my daughter's skills no end. I love that they have specific age groups that the children are placed in but also combine the children for activities such as mealtimes. This has also my daughter to develop the skills specific to her age group
but also has improved skills such as cutlery use and sitting well for meal times. The nursery have been very accommodating when we've needed support around sleep needs. They are extremely supportive and flexible. My only negative comment would be that sometimes they don't update the app (although this isn't a regular comment). They send lovely photos and a big shout out to one staff member in particular who always gives big updates on our daughter's day and has shared specific skill information on the app too! The whole team are friendly and fantastic with my daughter and you can tell they take the time to build a bond with her whether they're assigned to her group or not!

We have had a very positive experience with this nursery. The setting is welcoming and well-organized, creating a nurturing environment for the children. From the very beginning, communication has been consistent and clear, which has helped us feel confident in the care being provided.
Our child
has shown significant development both socially and emotionally since starting, and it's been lovely to see them excited to attend each day. Activities are thoughtfully planned and cater to a range of interests and abilities. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with age-appropriate resources.
We've been especially impressed by the staff's genuine care and attentiveness. They take the time to understand each child's needs and create a warm and safe space for learning and play.
Overall, we highly recommend this nursery to other families looking for a supportive, stimulating early years environment.

My little girl absolutely loves Selca she has come on so much while being there. The Selca girls are like family and that's a big thing knowing that they care and look after my little one like family. As soon as that red door opens you are greeted with a lovely welcoming smile.
Having my daughter
potty trained well before she was 2 is all thanks to the team at Selca for taking that extra step.

We feel so lucky to have secured a place at Selca Llanharan.
The staff are so invested in their work and share a lot of the CPD they do to showcase their commitment to doing the best for our children.
The food is varied, well portioned and yet balanced. I believe they even get some veg from the
allotment nextdoor. Their activities look fun, messy, educational and age appropriate. Our son often comes back with glitter or paint on his tops, which I always see as a good thing.
They are also very flexible, which I think is rare to find. We've often found ourselves needed unexpected childcare and they've always been able to help, which has been a huge relief.
I also think they apply a good amount of common sense when it comes to inevitable child illness, without risking the health of others in the setting.
All in all, I love that our son gets to call Selca a home from home. Thank you for all you do Selca Llanharan!

My son has been attending Selca (Llanharan and Bridgend Road) for 2 years now. He loves it. We've never had any problems and the staff have always been lovely and very helpful. 2nd child will also be attending Selca. I would defiantley recommend.

Amazing nursery! All staff members I have spoken with are lovely, caring and informative.
I am so grateful to have my children in this nursery- they go in happy and leave happy!
Everything is logged on an app so it is so easy to access and see how your children are getting on.

Amazing experience in Selcaday nursery. Have been using for 3 years (2 kids). Brilliant feedback from selcaday nursery and aftershool club/holiday club. I always feel confident dropping our child off, knowing they are in safe and capable hands. Highly recommended!

Selca day nursery in Llanharan is an amazing setting that has given both our boys an incredible start in life. Our eldest son moved to the nursery when we moved to the area and our youngest son has been attending since he was 9 months old and they could not have been happier. The staff are
incredible, I cannot put into words how well they care for the children and how much both our boys love all the team.
They don't just look after the children whilst we are at work but assist their development and look after all aspects of their wellbeing. The activities they arrange throughout the day means the boys always come home excited to tell us what they did during the day and we feel that we leave them in a safe, caring and nurturing environment.

There is nothing to fault about Selca, my baby loves going here. The staff are wonderful and so caring, and I love the updates we get. She always seems to be doing something new and stimulating. Communication in general is excellent. It's peace of mind knowing that your most precious person is

The staff are all welcoming and really personal with parents and also my child loves going.
The nursery keep daily pictures of what they get up too which so lovely to see from painting to being outside.

Such a lovely setting.
Affectionate and caring staff - it feels like you're handing your baby/toddler over to a member of your family.
Photos uploaded daily and plenty of activities.
