We've been with this nursery for over five years now-our oldest started here and now our daughter is in preschool-and we couldn't be happier. Both of our kids have loved their time here. They felt safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. The staff are warm, kind, and clearly love what they do. Even after all these years, our oldest still remembers and talks about the people there, which says a lot about the strong bonds they create. The nursery is always clean and well looked after. Meals are cooked on-site, and the food is healthy and varied. Each of the five rooms has its own garden, which gives the kids great space to play and explore. The team is very responsible and caring, and the managers are always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. They even organise some lovely weekend activities and trips from time to time. It really is a special place, and we're so grateful for the amazing start both of our kids have had here!

I've never had to worry leaving my little one at nursery. I look forward leaving him behind because I know he's in a safe, loving and caring environment. The staff do a fantastic job with our children and I've never found reason to fault them. Highly recommend this nursery.

Bright Horizons Long Road Day Nursery and Preschool is great. The staff genuinely care and create meaningful bonds with the children who clearly have a lot of fun. The management listen to parents concerns and suggests any changes that could be made to improve the experience of your child.

Fabulous nursery in every way! I would not have my children in any other establishment. Staff and management are kind, caring and considerate. Always going above and beyond for the children. Environment is always clean, organised and welcoming. Thank you!

It is the third year my daughter attending the nursery and I cannot describe how happy we are with everything. The personnel is amazing and very stable, the food menus are always through through, and there are many learning and fun activities organised all the time. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone!

The staff at Bright Horizons Long Road have been wonderful with our daughter and, now, son who both attend the setting. What I love about the nursery is the family, community feeling and how warm and welcoming everyone is. Our children have thrived under their care and I feel very confident in sending my daughter to school in September based on the confidence and education she has received while at the nursery.

Exceptional Nursery with Outstanding Staff Both my daughter and son attend Bright Horizons Long Road Nursery, and I couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff is incredibly helpful, polite, and professional, always creating a warm and welcoming environment for both children and parents. One of the biggest advantages is the nursery's convenient location next to my workplace, making drop-offs and pick-ups much easier. I have experience with other nurseries, but none compare to the care and quality at Long Road Nursery. The team truly treats us like family, and I can see how much my children are progressing and thriving under their guidance. The only challenge is that many parents work in nearby hospitals, which increases the likelihood of illnesses spreading among children. However, the management and staff handle this situation as best as possible, ensuring a clean and safe environment. Overall, I highly recommend Bright Horizons Long Road Nursery!

Our child started here in September 2024 and has been very happy. All the staff are friendly and take good care of our child. She is close to her main carer and other staff. They provide her with opportunities to learn and interact with other children. We highly recommend this nursery.

I have a 2-year-old son that attends nursery one day a week. He started off in the baby room and has now transitioned to unit 2. He loves nursery and I can already see him learning so much from his time there. There is a constant flow of learning opportunities for him to benefit from. For a child that likes an adult's presence, he is given more than enough attention to keep him happy as well as promoting independence during his play. I am so glad my son attends Bright Horizons Long Road Day Nursery and Preschool.

Our son is having a great time at nursery, he talks about his friends at home and the activities done at nursery. The staff in Unit 4 planned amazing activities for World Book Day, even a parent's tea with the children in the room and our son was proud to have his sister there. I think our son enjoys going to the nursery because there are always a few children greeting the room and he seems to be happy and excited. The app is regularly updated with the food they have eaten for the day, sleep times and nappy change times, which is great. The staff are great and they really do care for the kids.

This is a great nursery! If you plant your children here they will bloom! The staff are brilliant and nurture, encourage, and educate children on things such as emotions, friendships, and good behaviour. The daily and weekly activities are many, varied, and well thought out, creative, and fun. My children's social skills are thriving and my eldest who is approaching 4 years old is able to read and write simple words. My youngest has only been attending for a few months but l can already see a difference in him. He is much more confident and has become more curious about the world around him since starting.

My 2-year-old has been going to Bright Horizons Long Road Day Nursery and Preschool for just over a year. She is so happy to be dropped off each day, she’s always excited to go into the room and see her friends, the staff looking after her and what might be set up in the room that day. The staff are incredibly caring and consistently provide gentle encouragement and guidance alongside education for the children in their care. My elder daughter (now at school) also went to Long Road, so I have experienced having a child in all the rooms at the nursery and they have all been brilliant.

My daughter has been attending the Bright Horizons Long Road Nursery since she was 5 months old (she is now 2) and I can honestly say I am so impressed with it. The staff there are so lovely and caring and are just absolutely wonderful with her. The activities they do are so varied and creative, and I love that they also have an outside area for the children to play in so they are not indoors all day. The opening hours are a big plus too, as they suit my working hours very well. My daughter loves going to nursery and I can tell from the way she wants to get out the door in the morning before we're ready! I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Our daughter has really enjoyed her first 18 months at the nursery. The staff have taken such lovely care of her. They organise a wonderful range of activities each day. We are very happy that her younger sister will be starting there in the summer.

The nursery is very welcoming and you can tell they nurture children to support them in their development. The baby room has been fantastic at settling my son in and has given me regular updates on his progress and wellbeing. I am very happy with how my son is settling into the room. Kudos to the staff of Bright Horizons Long Road! We love the staff and the kids love them, too. However, the only thing that we are looking at is the cleanliness of the rooms especially in the baby room. Maybe the staff should have a separate sandals/shoes that they use when they’re inside and outside the room. This is because most of the kids in the baby room crawl and pick everything up from the floor. Imagine going out on a rainy day with the same shoes you step inside the room and the kids pick their toys from it. I hope this could be improved. Aside from this, everything’s amazing!

My eldest son has attended the nursery since he was two years old after moving from another nursery. The staff helped him a lot with the transitioning, and they have always given him emotional support to build his confidence. He is now in pre-school and is always very happy to attend. They offer amazing learning opportunities and even special trips like pumpkin picking and a day out at the farm on Sundays. My youngest son is in the baby room, and the teachers are very attentive, and taking very good care of him. After the usual adjusting time, he is now always smiling and happy to go. I highly recommend this nursery!

Both my children have been at the nursery for eighteen months now, and have moved rooms seamlessly. Both are thriving there and have come out of their shells. The staff are warm, engaging and caring, and my children have formed strong bonds with the staff in their rooms. The management is approachable and always willing to help. I have been very happy with the nursery and it brings me comfort knowing that my children will be cared for well, when I drop them off in the morning.

Hi! Lovely stuff and my daughter absolutely adores it, calling her key-worker “teacher” and other children “friends”. Big, lots of space and light, lots of fun activities. Also a shed for buggy, which is really comfortable if you do not want to take it with you back and forth!
