View Full Details of The Tiny Toes Nursery Club - HertfordOur daughter has been attending Hertford Tiny Toes since she was 9 months old and we could not be happier with the care she has recieved. From her settles it was clear to myself and her dad that the staff wanted to learn all they could about her to make sure she was happy in their care. She has strong relationships with all the staff but a particular fondness for Kat (toddler room leader) who has looked after her since she joined in baby room and knows her so well. She always gives her the biggest of hugs when she sees her. Lucy is her key worker and got to know her very well, very quickly and shares that with us each time we see her which we love. It's so reassuring to know that she is with people who love and care for her. She will talk about the staff and children so fondly at home. The staff and nursery are welcoming, friendly and caring towards the children. They have always eased any of our worries and concerns and our daughter happily runs in to them each day!
We chose to send our daughter to Tiny Toes at 9 months old, it was a huge decision for us and we are so happy we did. The whole team are really dedicated and our child genuinely gets excited when she is dropped off with the team, especially her wonderful key worker. A few stand out things: Sleeping - the nursery team involved us in getting her into a good routine that also works for us at home. Nutrition - the menu is balanced and we are always updated on how much she ate in the day. Environment - the baby room gives off a caring and tranquil environment for the children in comparison to other nurseries. Child development - the variety of activities are great and our child has really developed well here. They are often outside and it looks to be a safe, fun space. Communication - the app is good for updates and the Manager is very helpful with any queries. Overall I can't speak more highly of Tiny Toes and would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. Thank you team Tiny Toes!
Our son started 6 months ago and what a lovely journey we have had. He took some time to settle and adjust to being away from home, but was lovingly supported by Kelly, his key worker, and the rest of the team. The new baby room, is a lovely space, and seeing the ducks are a hit. Kelly has been such a positive ball of energy with boundless enthusiasm for our son and his development. I really appreciate the individual attention and detailed observations that Kelly and Karina offer him. The team are supportive and have great communication when there is sickness or if we have any requests or workarounds are needed. I love that we chose Tiny Toes.
My son loves going into nursery. His key workers, Kelly when he was 1 and now Daisy, have been amazing and he absolutely loves them. We get beautiful updates from them and they are always supportive when there's any change, like potty training. My daughter attended Tiny Toes before going to school and she skipped into nursery happily every day, too. I've always felt like this was the right nursery for my children and have recommended it to anyone I know locally looking for childcare for pre-school children. The staff are some of the loveliest people I've met and I have total confidence in them.
Our daughter began attending tiny toes at 10 months, but we had her name down from when I was 12 weeks pregnant. From day 1 we were really impressed with the nursery and in particular how flexible and friendly the staff were. The baby room is fantastic and has a lovely outside area. The children take part in exciting activities daily and they follow a curiosity approach, which really suits our daughter. Our daughter has settled brilliantly after a few settling sessions and absolutely loves going to nursery. Although she has formed a brilliant relationship with her key worker, we feel all of the staff have really got to know our daughter in a relatively short space of time. We couldn't recommend tiny toes more.
Before putting our son into a preschool room in a Nursery at the age of 3, we looked around MANY nurseries. We needed a term time, funded only hours place and it turned out that wasn't really a thing or there were lots of caveats with extra things to pay for but not at Tiny Toes. Nothing was too much for them, they were open and friendly and as much as possible, were willing to accommodate our needs. The preschool room - we can't comment on the upstairs baby room but our son talks about the babies coming downstairs so they do exist! - had a wonderful feel to it and we have never regretted our decision to send him there. The staff are lovely, warm and welcoming and we know that our son is safe, having a lovely time and is incredibly well fed - we often think that we should be going for meals there. What a particular staff member creates for the children is just amazing. There is excellent communication from the staff both face-to-face and via email/the app they use to give updates. It's great!
My eldest daughter started Tiny Toes back in January 2019 and we have been there ever since! My youngest is due to finish in July to start school and I will be so sad to say goodbye to the Tiny Toes team as they are just so truly wonderful and caring. I've never considered any other nursery as the nurturing approach combined with the encouragement of independence and curiosity is spot on. Communication from staff is also fantastic. Some staff have been there the entire time, which is testament to the supportive environment, and my children have loved their time there. Highly recommend.
My son joined Tiny Toes in Nov 2011 and left this summer to start school. From our first visit to Tiny Toes, all the staff made us feel relaxed and at ease, the approach was very personable compared to other nurseries we had visited. My son absolutely loved his time there, all the staff and children included. He developed into a very happy and confident little boy with the help of the Tiny Toes staff. We noticed and appreciated the small improvements made under the new ownership, particularly the opportunity to engage with other parents at social events organised by the nursery. This allowed us to establish relationships with parents of other children that my son had developed particular bonds with and who we are still in contact with now for playdates. We have such fond memories of Tiny Toes and were very sad to leave. I would definitely recommend Tiny Toes to anyone in the area looking at nurseries.
My child loves going to The Tiny Toes Nursery. The staff are brilliant and form strong bonds with the children. They provide a wide range of activities and a wonderful, varied menu, given my child the opportunity to try so many different foods. I am so happy with the experience my child is getting.
My daughter attended The Tiny Toes Nursery Club for two years, having been to a different nursery prior to that. They supported her transition wonderfully and helped her develop confidence and compassion. She is now in year 1 and still has vivid, fond memories of Tiny Toes and requests some of her favourite foods from the chef's excellent repertoire. We didn't think twice about sending our son, who started eight months ago, and he is having an equally wonderful experience. The team are nurturing, child-centred and accommodating. Couldn't recommend them more. They don't have the biggest outside space but they take the children for walks regularly and take advantage of the proximity to Hartham.
I'm very happy with Tiny Toes. The staff are really attentive and I can tell that my daughter built a strong bond with all of them. The range of activities that children take part in is very fun and most importantly good for their development. I highly recommend this nursery!
Really impressed with Tiny Toes. My son absolutely loves it and has settled in so well and a lot faster than I anticipated. All the staff are so lovely and warm. Whenever I have a query, they are very quick to respond and explain. I will be keeping my son (2) here until he is of compulsory school age because he loves it. I would definitely recommend it to any parent looking at nurseries within the area.
Wonderful, caring and knowledgeable staff, lovely open-ended resources, fabulous recent refurbishment, staff are always happy to discuss questions and any concerns. We are very lucky to be part of the Tiny Toes family.
Met my son's needs and taught him some sign language when he first joined as he didn't really talk, love the staff and my son loves being there and playing with his friends. Being autistic they understand.
Tiny Toes was my first choice of nursery when looking for a setting for my son. A small nursery makes it feel more like a family with the staff knowing my son even if they are not working in his room. He loved coming out of nursery and telling me all about what he had been doing. Although the garden is small it was big enough for my little boy to practice his footballing, which he still loves doing now. Thank you, Tiny Toes for all you have done and the memories made.
Our daughter attended Tiny Toes for 2 and a half years and we are so pleased we chose Tiny Toes. As a smaller nursery, there is a real family feeling and our daughter loved her time there. The team at Tiny Toes are amazing - so friendly, caring, and flexible. Tiny Toes regularly take the children for trips to the park, to see the ducks, etc. which we thought was lovely. We were sad when the time came for her to leave, she has lots of happy memories from her time there. We wouldn’t hesitate to anyone looking for an amazing caring nursery in Hertford!
We are so pleased that we chose to send our daughter to Tiny Toes. We had moved house and so needed to choose somewhere she would settle quickly as she had already been at another nursery. Tiny Toes felt like a home from home, and it felt like the staff really got to know the children and welcomed them. They have done such a range of activities with the children, and despite having a small garden they really utilised it, changing up activities and encouraging learning and play. Thank you so much, you have really allowed our daughter to be school-ready.
Our daughter recently left Tiny Toes after having attended for almost 3.5 years. We could not thank the staff and environment at TinyToes enough. They have helped our daughter and us navigate some key learning experiences whilst also providing her with a secure and friendly environment, which has allowed her to develop into the confident, caring and happy little girl she is now at school. We will all miss TinyToes very much - it’s such a wonderful community to be a part of - and would recommend the nursery to any new potential parents and children. Wish you all the best!
Our son attended Tiny Toes for 4 years from 2019-2023. Over that time I have had nothing but positive experiences even during the difficult lockdown periods, the staff are always caring and the nursery is flexible and always responds quickly to any queries. The app is useful to get quick information and to inform parents of what the children have been doing during the day. Food was always good and our son left with fond memories. Would recommend this nursery. Thank you Tiny Toes.
Our youngest child is leaving Tiny Toes for school tomorrow and it's the end of a (very happy) era for us all! The team have been like an extended family to us, and both of our children have loved their time there. The staff are always ready with a cuddle at drop off and pick up and we love the curiosity approach, with the children leading the way on the learning. Both kids have enjoyed baking, woodworking, trips to the supermarket and walks around the park. We can't thank them highly enough for everything they've done for us over the years.
