View Full Details of Bright Horizons Tooting Looking Glass Day Nursery and PreschoolI am very happy sending my Son to this nursery. I am confident that is he well looked after and is given everything he needs during his time there. He is confident and learns the necessary skills for his development at bright horizons. He has made great friends and loves the use of the large outdoor spaces they have to offer.
We are absolutely loving our experience of Tooting Bright Horizons so far! Our daughter has settled so well thanks to the brilliant team and management and we're really happy we chose this nursery for her. She's already coming on so well because of the nursery and we're excited to see her development over the next few months.
Bright Horizons is a fantastic nursery. Our son absolutely loves it and it's been so lovely to see him grow and develop while he's been there. Their facilities are brilliant. The outdoor area is huge and so accessible, allowing the children to have indoor/outdoor freedom to explore and get fresh air- it makes such a difference. The staff are just amazing as well- always so welcoming and friendly. We've had such a good experience so far and couldn't recommend them enough!
My son is finishing his time in the baby room before moving up to the next stage and we can't praise the nursery and their team enough. We use the nursery full-time and knowing that our son is safe, happy and loved means the world to us. A big shout out to all the teachers in the baby room, especially one member of staff and the deputy head who has a professional but also kind and caring relationship with the families who attend.
I was nervous about sending my little boy to nursery as he found being at a childminders quite difficult. As soon as I stepped into Bright Horizons Tooting Looking Glass Day Nursery and Preschool I instantly knew I had nothing to worry about and every experience since then has been outstanding. He has built strong bonds with all staff members, even those that don't work in his room. He has developed so much since being at Bright Horizons (confidence, feeding self, activities outside his comfort zone). The team go to lots of effort creating engaging activities and provide detailed reports of how he is getting on. My partner and I love looking at all the photos of what our son is up to throughout the day and details of what he has eaten/how much he has slept etc. Sending your little one to nursery for the first time can be super scary but the team at Bright Horizons are absolutely outstanding and I cannot recommend them enough.
Our daughter loves Bright Horizons Tooting Looking Glass Day Nursery and Preschool, the care and attention she receives is excellent. The variety of activities daily is much more than we could do at home. We see her development every day. The communication with parents is great via the Bright Horizons app which, as she has allergies, is very reassuring. We cannot fault the nursery or the staff.
This is my first experience of my child being cared for by people other than family. It, so far, has been a positive experience. My child loves nursery and this is a testament to those caring for her. As parents, you want your child to be in a safe environment where they can learn, make friends and really enjoy their day. I would say this is the experience my child has on a display basis. It is important to note the support from the managers is integral to the care and management of a nursery. Due to management, during my tour, I knew this was the right place. Daily, my child wants to engage with them which highlights to me they too are involved with spending time and getting to know the children in their care. Overall, a positive experience.
Wonderful nursery. The staff are so friendly and caring and it's clear how much my daughter loves them. The facilities are great, big, spacious rooms, with gardens and different activities every day to help the children progress and have fun. The staff here go above and beyond in their care and fondness of the children.
My two children have been in Bright Horizons Tooting Looking Glass Day Nursery and Preschool since 2020. My son is 4 in pre-school and started when he was 6 months old and so did my daughter who is currently 21 months. We have nothing but great things to say about the staff. They have been the most kind, supportive and amazing extensive "village" we could have hoped for. We are so lucky to have found this place and I will forever be grateful to the staff for knowing how to help us raise amazing kids but also keeping them safe: our son had a seizure episode when he was 18 months old and they did everything they should have done and beyond, looking after him while myself and my husband were travelling as fast as we could back from our place of work. The hospital was impressed with how they followed procedure while clearly looking after our child whilst waiting for us. I cannot recommend this nursery enough and would never change for the world.
Bright Horizons Tooting Looking Glass Day Nursery and Preschool has been brilliant for both my children but for my son especially. He has struggled with speech delay and sensory processing issues, the nursery staff (the deputy manager in particular) have put in place so much support and guidance to help him and have also been a huge support to us, as parents, too. We highly recommend the nursery to anyone who asks!
Very happy nursery with excellent staff. Our eldest loved it and our 2nd (10 months) has recently started and is also having a fantastic time. The rooms are a good size and well resourced. The garden area is great too. We would highly recommend Bright Horizons Tooting.
Although large, the people and the spaces are so welcoming that it has a lovely warmth and connected feel. They observe and get to know your child very well individually, and deliver engaging, skill-developing group activities every day. Parents feel listened to and concerns are often quickly addressed.
Could not speak more highly of this nursery. It’s coming up to a year since my son started attending - the nursery staff have been so kind, welcoming, flexible and importantly lovely to my little boy. He absolutely loves going - the range of food and activities is excellent. Not a bad word to say. Strongly recommend!
We chose Bright Horizons Tooting because, from our first visit, it was clear the children are treated with love. I had a tricky sleeper and they were so respectful of the extra support she needed when she started at 11 months and they have been nothing but supportive since. We are now expecting our second child and the staff have been doing lots of practice with baby dolls and getting her ready. The facilities are brilliant but the staff are the real stars.
In the 4 months since my daughter started nursery she has come on leaps and bounds. This is down to the staff and their care and attention. My child is reaching all her milestones and loves nursery. I am really happy with her progress and the nursery team.
Our son has been coming to this nursery for almost 1.5 years, and our daughter will start next summer. He has developed so much over his time there. Whilst there has been some change in management over that time, it has been handled and communicated well. They are very responsive and it feels very family-like and personal there, despite it being a big nursery. We are very happy.
Our son really loves going to Bright Horizons Looking Glass in Tooting! The staff are really lovely and truly care about the wellbeing of each child. They organise different engaging activities for the children every day, and the kids always seem to really enjoy them! The opening hours are amazing for us, as it gives working parents a little bit of extra flexibility. The facilities are always clean and in general the nursery is quite new. There is a large garden so the kids often get to spend time outside, which is lovely. We've looked at a few nurseries when choosing Looking Glass and whilst it's one of the more expensive ones in the area, the quality of care and facilities are worth it!
The staff are great. Really nice, take great interest and pride in their work. In particular, a certain staff member is excellent. She’s approachable, knowledgeable and seems to always be at the nursery, working very hard. The staff in all the rooms our daughter has been in have been great but the stars of the show have definitely been fantastic with our daughter. The facilities are great, there’s lots for the kids to do and they seem to learn a lot.
Lovely staff, take real care and attention in looking after our little one. They could not have been more thoughtful when it came to the settling sessions and in the few months since then, they have made sure our little one loves nursery.
My child has been here now for six months and she had developed so much, talking and showing me new things. The staff are great for keeping me updated with her progress. I've been so happy with the nursery and staff. Got no bad words to say about them. I can't wait to see how much more my daughter develops.
