We absolutely love Big Robins. Our daughter has been attending for 2 days a week since June 2023 and really enjoys her time there. Like a lot of parents probably experience, it was difficult at first as our daughter was unsure where she was and pick ups and drop off were upsetting but the staff were reassuring and helps us all ease into our new routine. Now our daughter happily walks herself in, shouts bye and doesn’t give us a second glance! She is also happy when we pick her up and the staff always have only positive things to say about her which tells us she is happy there. We get updates at the end of each day regarding the food she has eaten, sleep, nappies etc. and the activities she has taken part in then weekly photos and more in depth details of what she has been doing are given on the app. The staff are helping her development and it clear to see she is thriving there. They also provide healthy homemade food which is another plus. We are so glad we chose Big Robins.

Both of my children have attended Big Robins Nursery. My eldest from 8 months to just before entering reception, the other from 4 months to present. They have always been absolutely fantastic, very supportive of anything and everything and all the staff are lovely to deal with. We've never had any problems with either of the children whilst in their care and were kept updated of development with regular reviews and their use of the app. My elder still speaks fondly of the nursery staff and my youngest's first word was her primary case worker's name.

Outstanding nursery and would highly recommend to anyone! Our daughter started at Big Robins Nursery at 12 months old. She has progressed so much, we cannot thank the team for the continued commitment and compassion they show daily, we have complete trust in leaving our daughter here and the communication you receive at the end of the day and via the app continues to reassure us. We never have any issues in our daughter attending, she is always so happy to go and spend the day with her friends and the staff, which speaks volumes! The nursery has a different theme and focus each week which everyone gets involved with which is brilliant. The yearly events that are put on at the nursery involve all the parents too which is lovely to see and such a kind gesture. We are very happy!

My son has been enrolled in the nursery full-time for almost a year. Very happy with Big Robins Nursery; it's biggest strength is the focus on child development. My child often learns new skills, words, songs etc. that he proudly shows us at home. He's also doing very well socially and has little friends at the nursery. There is a consistency at Big Robins which I know you sometimes don't get with other nurseries which has allowed my son to have good relationships with the different staff members. The nursery is also very good at informing parents of your child's progress with regular updates via an app. I'm a dad who works away frequently so if I am away for a full week I really appreciate the updates with photos to see how he's getting on. Highly recommended.

Our daughter has attended Big Robins Nursery since late 2021. Since then has developmentally and socially has improved immensely. The girls are so supportive with every aspect of her needs and with the deputy manager's continuous support with her additional needs, we have made a robust plan for starting school later this year. Communication from the nursery is great we get weekly updates on the app and daily sheets with what the children have been doing.

My daughter has been going to Big Robins Nursery since October 2022. She knows the staff by their names and always asks about seeing them in the morning. Her development is amazing and I believe it's down to going to this nursery. She is thriving!

Amazing nursery! The staff are super friendly, caring and knowledgeable. They do a range of activities and I feel my little one is developing well in so many areas. Weekly updates with pictures on the app about my little one and it just gives you peace of mind. Would highly recommend. Plenty of space for kids to run and play.

An absolutely outstanding nursery. My child is really thriving at Big Robins and the support they offer is fantastic. I recently attended a stay-and-play session, I had a lovely time and was able to see why my child enjoys going so much. Big Robins also provides weekly updates and pictures of what the children have been doing for the week which really helps me to engage with them when they’re home and to be able to discuss their day. Every single member of the team is kind and nurturing as well as helpful towards my child’s progression. The activities and outdoor area are just perfect, I honestly would recommend Big Robins to everyone.

Both of our children have attended Big Robins Nursery. My eldest had a wonderful time at the nursery. We were always kept in the loop with everything and responses from staff about anything were always dealt with promptly. He formed strong bonds with many of the nursery nurses who he still talks about today. His transition into his primary school was seamless due to all the hard work that was put in by the nursery staff in the pre school room. So it made complete sense to send our 2nd child too. He settled in quickly and is enjoying his time there. He has made strong relationships with many of the nursery staff. It is so refreshing to speak to the nursery staff and they know so much about our child. They know his little personality and keep us updated via the app and also when we drop off and pick up. I have complete trust in leaving our son at nursery knowing that he is being taken care of so well and is happy.

Such a lovely nursery, my daughter absolutely loves going every day. Their play area is second to none and their staff are really experienced and always happy to help no matter what the problem is. I would highly recommend it to anyone on the fence.

Incredible nursery, our daughter has flourished since going to Big Robins. From seeing the smile on her face when dropping her off to picking her up we know she is in safe hands. The staff are excellent and very detailed explaining the day when collecting. Thoroughly recommend.

Would recommend it to everyone and anyone. My child is happy and well supported, communication is good with daily opportunities to speak with room staff. Recently restarted stay and plays which are lovely opportunities for parents to see their little ones in the setting. Lots of outdoor play which I love to see and is my child’s favourite part of the day! Cost is high so something to take into consideration but I think this is a national issue rather than specific to Big Robins. Lots of support with things like potty training, teaching life skills, how to put on coats/bags etc. Safeguarding measures are strong and in place. Overall, my child is happy and safe and enjoys their time at nursery.

I've had two children go through Big Robins. My eldest has recently left to go to school and I'm often told they miss nursery. My youngest is still there and always enjoys nursery. I love that the staff seem to have a genuine interest and show great care for each and every child. Big Robins offers a good mix of activities for the children, they always seem to be doing something exciting and fun. I love the outdoor displays showing what the learning focus for the week will be. At the end of the day, you get a breakdown of food eaten, naps, nappies etc, as well as what activities they've done that day. You also get a weekly update on the app, talking about the activities and with photos and videos included. We would highly recommend Big Robins.

I couldn’t be happier with Big Robins, our daughter has been going since she was 9 months and has thrived. The activities and learning they do with her are fantastic and the app is great for updating us on what she’s been up to.

Food is repeated most weeks, we find our child has the same food most of the time they are there. Wide range of activities keeping my child engaged with photos and updates on a secure app, keeping us up to date with what they are doing on a day-to-day basis. We don't know all the staff and their roles.

We chose to send our child to Big Robins as we’d had numerous recommendations from friends. Judging by the confidence and behaviours of their children, it made our decision even easier. With it being our first child, our anxieties were eased early into our child’s first few days as she’d willingly walked in with whichever member of staff she was greeted with. And when it comes to pick-up time, she is always happy (if not a little tired) and often wants to stay and play for longer. We are briefed at the end of the day on the activities and the general mood of our child, and the pick-up slip has all the info we need to know about the day. In the time in which our daughter has been at Big Robins, we have seen her confidence and relationships develop at home; we are really happy knowing our little girl is well looked after and having the best time. The staff also send regular pictures and updates from previous weeks of the children, which is really reassuring and nice to see.

Big Robins Nursery is fantastic! My daughter loves all the staff and the activities they plan for the children are amazing. There is a new theme for the children to learn about and get involved with each week. There is always sensory and imaginative play as well as lots of art and craft which my daughter loves. I can’t recommend them enough! My daughter had CMPA when she joined and the staff were great, she never missed out or felt singled out, they always managed to provide her with a dairy-free alternative to what the other children had. They eat some fantastic fresh meals - I’m jealous of what she gets to eat!

My little boy has attended Big Robins Nursery for just under a year. He has had the most amazing time and has come on in leaps and bounds in terms of his development. The staff really care and form genuine bonds with the children, which is wonderful to see as a parent. There is a focus on learning, and the children enjoy a range of activities in and out of doors. He comes home with a full tummy having tried a range of healthy foods. I’ve never felt I was leaving him just to be looked after; He often runs into nursery smiling looking forward to the day ahead. I have 100% confidence in the team and would recommend them in a heartbeat to any other parent.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Big Robins Nursery and I’m now confident he’s ready for big school in September. We are absolutely gutted to be leaving, we have had such a positive experience. Lovely touches have been cards and personalised key rings on Mother and Father’s Day, plants to bring home (his sunflower is now HUGE!), his graduation ceremony and all the lovely pictures and things that he makes that I will treasure forever. There is a theme for learning each week and the activities they do inspired by this are great. Nothing is too much trouble for all of the staff and how they coped during the pandemic was amazing. I can’t thank them all enough for making our son the confident and clever boy he is today.

Our daughter has been at Big Robins Nursery for around 5 months now and she is absolutely loving it. The staff are lovely, and the environment is very welcoming which has made her settle in really easily. The communication to home is amazing - we receive weekly informative observations and messages through an easy to use phone app. Her key worker is very knowledgable and approachable and is always happy to answer any questions we have. We have seen big progress in her development since starting nursery - she is more confident, social, and independent. She loves coming into Nursery, which speaks volumes. We are very happy.
