Eilmar Since 1984

Eilmar has been operating since 1984, delivering over 41 years of consistent, high-quality childcare. Since being taken over by the current provider in 2005, the setting has shown an unwavering commitment to excellence, consistently going above and beyond the standards set by Ofsted. From 2005 onwards, enhanced safeguarding systems have been embedded across every aspect of the setting. Comprehensive CCTV is in place and regularly updated to meet current standards. A strict mobile phone policy ensures staff remain fully focused on children at all times, with phone use permitted only during designated breaks, with on the spot checks. This approach extends to all visitors, including prospective parents, who are required to silence their phones or place them on airplane mode to maintain a safe, distraction-free environment. Eilmar has developed its own robust internal policies that exceed regulatory expectations, ensuring that every aspect of safety, supervision, and care is maintained to the highest level. Accurate and detailed records have been consistently maintained since 2005, supporting transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. Child wellbeing remains central to daily practice. During rest periods, children are provided with comfortable, purpose designed floor mats and light blankets, while staff remain present and carry out checks every 10 minutes to ensure children are safe, settled, and nurtured. This reflects a culture where staff are fully engaged, attentive, and responsive to each child’s individual needs.
