WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - WEEK COMMENCING 30TH MARCH 2026

Clever Cats & Clever Kittens This week in Preschool we have been working on our numbers rolling the dice noticing what number we get, then moving our piece in the right number of spaces we have done this with simple games and more complicated games too!

Next week we will be recapping on all our letters from the beginning of the alphabet to the U for umbrella, which we now need for our rainy days. For the next couple of weeks we will be focusing on Spring time and Easter, thinking about Easter in preparation for Easter weekend and we will be making our Easter crafts and decorating Easter pictures. We look forward to sharing them with you, this will also give us a purpose for writing! Some of you will have noticed that the children are becoming very confident with their writing skills!

Ladybirds Next week in Toddler room we are going to be celebrating Easter, using our creativity skills when creating our very own Easter craft through gluing and sticking. We are also going to be developing our fine motor skills when copying patterns using pasta shapes, whilst collaborating with friends to help each other.  Butterflies Next week, we will be focusing on the colour yellow, linking our activities for Easter. The children will be enjoy exploring soft, fluffy textures while learning about bunnies and chicks ??. We will also be getting a little messy with some fun Easter-themed sensory play.
