WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - WEEK COMMENCING 9TH MARCH 2026

Next week we will be -

Clever Cats Next week in Clever Cats we will be looking at all things science! The Clever Cats will be conducting their own experiments! We will be looking at gravity, sinking and floating etc! The Clever Cats will also be looking at the ways in which we can grow plants and how they survive! The song of the week is “I Can Sing A Rainbow” and the book of the week is “Curious Why”.

Clever Kittens and Ladybirds Next week the children within the Toddler Room are focusing their learning around Science Week!

Throughout the week the children are going to be conducting and taking part in a range of different science experiments. The children will be exploring weight through a Sink or Float activity, they will be exploring colour and will be further be exploring manipulation, selecting and using appropriate tools for a purpose.

The children will be encouraged to use their language as a tool to make predictions and to conclude their findings.

The children will also be taking part in craft activities to create some lovely Mother’s Day creations.

Butterflies Next week we will be exploring a range of different sensory activities as part of Science Week. The babies will be looking at different objects in water such as balls, boats and rocks. We will be getting messy in a bubble painting activity exploring different colours of paints to create science experiment pictures.
