Families and the team at Boys & Girls Nursery helped put a smile on the faces of the women & children who were in need of the local refuge service at Christmas. An incredible number of gifts were donated to the service in time for Christmas morning, helping make Christmas special for all.

Natasha Hayter, from the Specialist Domestic Abuse Service, expressed their gratitude for the support, “For many children, this was their first Christmas in a place of safety. Thanks to the kindness of the families from Boys & Girls Nursery, it was also a Christmas filled with smiles, excitement, and moments of joy. The children’s gifts donated meant more than just presents they showed our children that they are seen, cared for, and worthy of happiness.”

One Mum shared, “Seeing my child open their gift and smile again was something I didn’t think I’d see this year. Thank you for giving them that moment”.

Natasha Kirby, Director, Boys & Girls Nursery said “We were delighted to support this vital service again this year. It is something that we at Boys & Girls Nursery have done since 2019, and we are always overwhelmed by the generosity of our families”.
