Shooting Stars Tettenhall Officially Opens Its Doors to Families

Shooting Stars Nurseries is delighted to announce the official opening of its brand-new Tettenhall nursery, welcoming children from babies to preschool into a modern, nurturing learning environment. Tettenhall is the 7th nursery in the Shooting Stars Nurseries Group.

Following an extensive renovation of the building and gardens, Shooting Stars Tettenhall has been thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, independence and a love of learning. The nursery features bright, airy rooms tailored to each age group, cosy sleep spaces for babies, well-equipped creative and sensory areas, and a superb outdoor environment that encourages daily exploration in all seasons.

A thoughtfully designed space for early years excellence: From the outset, the project focused on creating a calm, home-from-home atmosphere enriched with high-quality resources. Each room is arranged to support purposeful play and the development of key skills—communication and language, personal and social development, physical literacy, early maths and phonics—through child-led exploration and carefully planned adult-guided activities.

Experienced team, warm community: The Tettenhall team brings a wealth of early years experience and a genuine passion for children’s wellbeing and progress. Families can expect a caring, consistent approach, strong parent partnerships, and regular updates on their child’s learning journey. Key Person relationships ensure every child feels known, safe and supported from their very first settling-in session.

Healthy meals and outdoor adventures: Nutritious, balanced meals and snacks are freshly prepared each day, catering for allergies and dietary preferences. Outdoor play is a core part of the daily routine, with children enjoying a variety of physical, imaginative and nature-based activities in the newly landscaped garden. The setting has been planned to allow free-flow access wherever possible, helping children develop confidence and a sense of independence.

Safety and standards at the heart: Shooting Stars’ robust safeguarding, cleanliness and health & safety procedures are embedded across the nursery. Secure entry systems, thorough risk assessments and meticulous hygiene routines give families peace of mind, while the team’s ongoing training keeps practice current and reflective.
