WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - JUNE 30TH

Next week we will be -

Graduates Next week the Graduates will be focusing on getting graduation ready and preparing props for their big day. We will be doing practice run throughs throughout the week as well as discussing our new schools and who they will be going to school with.

Clever Cats Next week, we will continue looking at summer whilst also exploring mini beasts. We will be going on a walk to find insects and talking about how we need to be kind. Whilst in the classroom, we will be working on two part instructions to see if we can find the insects hidden around the room. We will be practising our letter recognition with our alphabet caterpillars. We will also be creating mini beats with play dough. Our letter of the week will be C so we look forward to seeing what you can find that’s begins with this! Clever Kittens and Ladybirds Next week the children within the classroom are focusing their learning around the season of summer. 

The children will be looking at some simple action pictures and will be beginning to use action words such as ‘Swimming’, ‘Building’, ‘Running’, ‘Crying’, ‘Eating’ etc. 

The children will also be getting creative and using their imagination as they create their own summer crafts such as an ‘ice cream’, ‘sunshine’, ‘bucket and spade’.    Butterflies In the baby unit next week we are celebrating summer!

We will be exploring water play and introducing some new simple language including ‘Splash’ and ‘ready steady go!’

To support physical development and creativity the children will be offered a range of different colours of tissue paper to scrunch using their finger and thumb to create our very own baby unit sunflower! ??
