WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - JUNE 9TH

Clever Cats and Clever Kittens Book of the week ‘Handa’s Surprise’, Handa carries seven delicious fruits in a basket as a surprise for her friend’s Akeyo. But thanks to a variety of hungry animals, it’s Handa who gets the suprise! Children will be using their 5 senses to describe fruit tasting activity with their friends. Please book in to come celebrate Father’s Day we are inviting parents and carers to join us for our Stay and Play Thursday 12th June at 2pm.

Ladybirds Next week Ladybirds will be exploring a dinosaur like environment indoors and outdoors for dinosaur day, counting and looking at the different colours. Children will be decorating their own dinosaur using different materials. Children will also be taking part in Soccer Aid to celebrate for Father’s Day.

Butterflies We have been enjoying exploring with textures in Baby Room this week both indoors and out using cereals including Weetabix.

Next week we will be celebrating Soccer Aid and we are hoping that some of our dads will come and join us and also at the same time we will be exploring using balls with our children kicking, rolling and making attempts at trying to throw and catch, we hope to see you for our next stay and play event next week!
