WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - APRIL 28TH

Clever Cats and Clever Kittens Next week we will be taking a look at pet pictures for National Pet Month, the children will have a chance to speak about their own pets at home, feel free to send pictures in.

Story of the week ‘Whatever Next’. Will Baby bear travel to the moon and back before bath time? The children will be able to explore and look at the different planets while fitting the different jigsaw pieces together. We will be making different patterns and marks in the space tuff tray to get to the moon.

Ladybirds Next week the Ladybirds will be building their own rockets using different block materials in the space tuff tray, they will be creating and decorating their own planet to hang up. Ladybirds will be using their sense of smell with the scented playdough and feeling the different textures.

Butterflies This week we enjoyed making our ‘Earth’ and also St George shields, as ever creating opportunities to get messy and explore texture. Next week our plan is around T’he Animal Boogie’ and ‘Down in the Jungle’ Song/ Book - we will explore animal prints such as leopard and shaking like bears.
