WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - FEBRUARY 17TH

Clever Cats and Clever Kittens

We will be reading “Alien’s Love Underpants” the children will get a chance to look at the different patterns, shapes and sizes of underpants they will then try to create and make their own patterns.

Ladybirds

Next week the Ladybirds will be taking a looking into ‘Being Kind To Others’ for kindness day. The children will be creating cards for their friends promoting friendships. The children will be practicing kindness role play where children practice being kind! Our tuff tray will include dolls promoting kindness and encourage discussions on how the characters can show kindness.

Caterpillars

This week Baby Room we have enjoyed making Play-Doh, turning it pink, and having a go at getting our fingers in – another new texture to try out!

We have also been making our I love you cards so the children have had a chance to paint their heart ready to be stuck on their cards to send home, we hope you have loved them as much as we did, the children are really getting used to try out getting messy so please remember to send them clothes that are easily washable so that they can enjoy messy activities!

Following on from next week we will be getting ready for World Book Day and starting to look at our favourite Julia Donaldson stories! Please remember to help your child to dress up as their favourite Julia Donaldson character on 6th March!
