Try This Toothbrushing Song!

Here at TicTots we incorporate toothbrushing into our daily routine with the children as we know that promoting oral health in early years is essential to protecting our children's teeth and establishing good habits for when they get older.

When encouraging the children to independently brush their teeth we sing them this song:

Sing to the tune: “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”

Got my toothpaste, got my brush, I won't hurry, I won't rush. Making sure my teeth are clean, Front and back and in between. When I brush for quite a while, I will have a happy smile!

We have found that this really helps the children join in with brushing their teeth and they have even started singing the song independently during pretend play!

While you are brushing your child's teeth before bed, try singing this song and see if it helps them to join in and helps to promote a positive toothbrushing time!
