Grandir UK has continued its expansion across the Southeast of England with the acquisition of Kingsmead Day Nursery in Winchester.
The high-quality setting, which offers 60 childcare places, was opened in 1989 by former owner Helen Gaskell.
They originally operated on the other side of the city out of a large Victorian house before re-locating to their current site on Gordon Street in December 2010.
Kingsmead Day Nursery enjoys a great reputation in the local community, providing a warm, nurturing environment where young children aged 0-5 can explore the world and develop their individuality.
This latest acquisition takes Grandir UK to a total of 86 nurseries across Southwest, Midlands, Southeast and Central England.
Lydia Hopper, CEO of Grandir UK, comments, “I am delighted to welcome Kingsmead Day Nursery in Winchester to Grandir UK.
"The nursery, established in 1989, has enjoyed an excellent reputation in Winchester. We are looking forward to continuing to provide an environment where the children and nursery team can learn, grow, and thrive together.”
