Kids Planet acquires outstanding Tic Toc nursery

Leading childcare group Kids Planet has acquired Tic Toc Day Nursery in Henley Road, Coventry, taking the total number of Kids Planet day nurseries to 82.

Tic Toc Day Nursery was founded in 2002 – a family nursery with two settings. Both settings have undergone extensive refurbishments and improvements both inside and outside, and have been rated ‘Outstanding’ in their last two Ofsted reports.

The first setting is for younger children, and its success led to the opening of another setting for pre-school children and those who attend term-time only.

Tic Toc Day Nursery’s previous Directors were Maureen Wedgewood and Claire Spencer, who have an NHS background and have worked as health visitors in Coventry.

Speaking about the latest acquisition, Clare Roberts, CEO of Kids Planet, said: “We’re delighted to continue our expansion across the UK with the acquisition of Tic Toc. Nursery space bookings at each setting are now being taken.
