While many boys and girls may not visit him in person this year, Father Christmas is making himself available via text, phone and even via a video call this holiday season to keep young children on their toes and well-behaved before 25 December.

With many parents having spoken to their children about Santa’s ‘naughty list’, mums and dads can go further and get a direct dial to the North Pole and the big man in red himself, thanks to a phone app called ‘Message from Santa’.

Young children can receive a direct message from Santa to remind them to be good because he’s checking his famous list to see who is being naughty or nice before delivering presents to them.

Parents can ask Santa to schedule a phone call, send a text or even a video call to remind children to be good.

The app is available to download from Apple's App store.

One Mum who used the ‘Message from Santa’ app, said: “I’m absolutely loving this app!

“You can add all your children onto the app but not just that, Santa can call u for any reason u choose inc not brushing teeth not going to sleep etc etc, the list is endless so many reasons you can choose from.

“He can call regarding something naughty, something good they have done or even something they are refusing to do! Works a treat”.
