The children and staff at Burgess Hill’s Kiddi Caru day nursery have been turning each other into mummies to raise money for Comic Relief.
As well as wrapping each other in kitchen paper to see who could make the best mummy the children dressed up as their favourite Red Nose character. They also baked and decorated ‘snuffle cakes’ – creating funny face designs on cup cakes.
The staff arranged a host of craft activities too, including creating and painting nose characters, face painting and making faces.
Gemma Burnett, Nursery Manager, said: “The children love Red Nose Day, it’s so much fun and also an opportunity to help people in need both here in the UK and further afield. We all had a great time and were so pleased to be able to raise money for such an amazing cause at the same time.”
