A new, state-of-the-art North London day nursery has been unveiled by The Co-operative Childcare group, bringing 83 more childcare places to the Bounds Green area.
The provider opened the doors to the facility last week, inviting parents and children to visit and see for themselves how the £612,000 investment has been well spent.
Purpose-designed for early years education, the Bounds Green nursery includes an interactive sensory room and a dedicated baby unit with sleep room and play area. There are separate outdoor spaces for under twos and over twos, which include sheltered huts and climbing frames, as well as a secure rooftop garden for babies.
Relocating from Palmers Green, nursery manager Selen Suleyman is delighted with the new facility, commenting: “We are delighted to have opened this new nursery in Bounds Green and it has been great to welcome children and parents to the nursery this week to show them the fantastic facilities which have been purpose built.
“We are particularly pleased with how much space the building has, including a significant outdoor area. Children from Palmers Green nursery which have relocated to this new site were able to have a say in what they wanted to see at their new nursery, so we hope they enjoy exploring and getting to know their new surroundings.
“At Bounds Green our main focus is to provide outstanding childcare, offering a happy and safe environment for children to learn and enjoy themselves, and we are looking forward to welcoming even more children over the coming months.”
