kidsunlimited Wandsworth children have green fingers after a kind donation

Children at a kidsunlimited nursery in Wandsworth have been getting green fingers following a donation from their local Homebase.

Homebase in Wandsworth kindly donated a selection of gardening supplies to the kidsunlimited’s nursery on 4 North Side, Wandsworth Common. The donation included a selection of planting trays, seeds and soil. As the nursery’s toddlers are currently taking part in kidsunlimited’s bespoke ku:gardening programme, they were all very excited to see the supplies arrive. Following the donation the nursery’s toddler room has been transformed into a magical planting area, where the children have started to plant seeds and water them daily. Over the next few weeks the children are going to learn about plants as they watch their own grow.

Nursery Manager at kidsunlimited Wandsworth, Kaye Stuart, said “I would like to say a huge thank you to our local Homebase for their kind donation; the children have really enjoyed planting their seeds and are now looking forward to them growing.”
