Staff and children at the Busy Bees nursery in Brough are celebrating after receiving an ‘outstanding’ rating following a recent Ofsted inspection.
The Welton Road nursery scored top marks in all the three inspection areas, which are meeting the needs of the range of the children who attend, contributing to their wellbeing and the effectiveness of the leadership and management.
Inspectors praised staff for having “excellent” relationships with parents and noted that “parents have a complete trust in the staff” who care for their children.
The “friendly and approachable” staff were also praised for working to the “highest standards to ensure they provide a vibrant, safe and exciting environment for children to play and learn”.
After the rating was awarded, nursery manager Sue Barr, who recently won the Busy Bees’ Manager of the Year award, said: “It is incredibly rewarding to receive an ‘outstanding’ rating in all areas from Ofsted. This endorsement proves that all our hard work is recognised and the outstanding care we strive to provide is delivered.
“I am very proud of the whole team. We work really well together and every member of staff works tirelessly to ensure that every area of care and education is provided at the highest level for our children and their families.
“We’re thrilled to bits and so are our parents – we will definitely be celebrating for a few weeks to come.”
