Bright Kids at Crabbs Cross provided the children with an opportunity to teach simple lessons in staying safe, by holding hands when walking along busy roads, and learning the word ‘STOP’, whilst incorporating simple activities using ride-on toys on a marked route in our secure playground, where we was joined by Nathan Parkes who has been the Lollipop Man in Crabbs Cross for 3years who talked to the children about where it is safe to cross the road and the ‘STOP’ ‘LOOK’ ‘LISTEN’ rules of staying safe. The nursery raised a total of £160.00.
Also the management team Anita Shepherd and Lorraine Ashford was sent flying in the air taking part in a reverse bungee jump for the Neonatal Cardiac Unit at the Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, which raised a Total of £261.00. Thank You to all the parents and staff in supporting us in both charities.
Anita Shepherd, Nursery Manager said “The main aim of our fund raising was to raise awareness of the importance for children to have extensive understanding of the environment around them, and how to build positive relationships of people who help us along with those in need”.
Bright Kids provide a comprehensive range of services: baby care, toddler care, pre-school education and breakfast, after school and holiday clubs. They stand out by the genuine provision of stimulating environments to secure a brighter future for our kids.
