The babies in our Nursery recently enjoyed taking part in our activity, treading in paint.
Having prepared a bowl with paint in the bottom, the children were held as they thoroughly enjoyed kicking about in the paint barefoot. They were giggling and shouting as they wriggled around excitedly in the paint and they watched curiously as their friends did the same.
The babies were completely absorbed by this sensory experience which covered many of the learning areas featured in the Early Years Foundation Stage, including physical and creative development as well as personal, social and emotional development.
It was rather messy but lots of fun!
