Bessborough children and staff finally back home

Article By: LEYF

At Bessborough this morning, no sooner had the day begun than the children were excited to finally be 'going home' - not home to their parents that is, but back home to their newly refurbished community nursery on Bessborough Street, opposite Pimlico tube station.

The new and improved Bessborough Centre - including clinic, Children’s Centre and LEYF community nursery - now provides children and parents in the local Tachbrook area with first class facilities including a brand new play garden, sensory room, three play areas and family clinic - all helping to support child health, growth and play-based education.

After almost 18 months in Page Street whilst the major building work was being done, LEYF Nursery Manager, Mona Majed and her eager team of staff were equally excited to be back where they began - and are looking forward to an official opening celebration event very soon!
