About the Role

Please note that this role requires a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years

We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to support the day?to?day running of our nursery. This role blends leadership, hands?on practice, and operational oversight, with 2 days based in the office and 2 days working directly in the rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations
• Lead and mentor room leaders to maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
• Contribute to planning and delivering high?quality educational activities
• Build strong, professional relationships with parents, staff, and children
• Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and cleanliness
• Drive continuous improvement across the nursery

Skills & Experience

• Experience working with children in an early years setting
• Strong leadership and team?management abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Good understanding of EYFS and early childhood development
• Ability to support the effective running of a nursery
• Proficient in English
