Sunrise Community Nurseries

My sons have been at Sunrise since he was 10-months-old; they are such a caring, fantastic nursery. He loves it there. He was with a childminder previously and wasn’t happy, but settled here so quickly l. The staff are so caring and great and have been fantastic through Covid. If you are looking for a lovely, supportive nursery with a great staff and a diverse group of parents, then I can’t recommend here more highly.

Our 3-year-old daughter has attended Sunrise Community Nursery since January 2020 and we have been very impressed. The staff are extremely caring and child-focused, they are all very friendly and helpful in their communications with me, and the building is purpose-built so it has lots of great space and equipment. Throughout the nursery being closed due to Covid-19 their communications with parents have been excellent and I've been really reassured by the steps they have taken to reopen. Our daughter loves going there and has made lots of friends, she really has developed good relationships with the staff as well. She particularly loves the sensory soft-play room! It's also really good value for money compared to many other nurseries we have looked at.

My son loves his nursery and in particular his team leader, who has had a really positive impact on him. He started preschool here and had never attended nursery beforehand, but he settled in nicely. The staff are friendly. There are a lot of trainees but the team leaders know what they are doing. Front of staff is very welcoming and they have a good selection of meals and snacks. There is also a diverse ethnicity which is great. I recommend to others.

This is an excellent nursery, simply because of the caring ethos established. Our daughter had a smooth transition because she felt happy, safe and secure. Every day, our daughter is excited about going to nursery, to be with her teachers and friends! She has become confident with her communication skills, knowledgeable about the world around her and enjoys singing the songs learnt. This nursery has such a warm community feel as all staff are helpful, supportive and professional. As a Teacher I would recommend Sunrise Community Nurseries to any parent/ carer who would love to give their child the best start in life! Thank you to all of the Sunrise family, we really are grateful and appreciate all that you do for our daughter.

Sunrise Community Nurseries has been a part of our lives since 2016 and we currently have 2 children in attendance. I cannot say enough how much like family Sunrise has become to us. We feel completely confident in leaving our children with them. The staff are so kind and caring and go the extra mile. They really seem to genuinely care about our children and their development. From potty training to language development Sunrise have been absolutely instrumental in our children’s development. We love the building which has spacious rooms and a large playground. The range of activities undertaken by staff is very broad and our son talked about the ‘away trip’ to the park for weeks. Other things we love are the Christmas and summer parties which really make you feel like you are part of a community. The food is great and prepared with great attention giving good variety. Can not recommend this nursery highly enough. We will be very sad when our children leave for school and we have to say goodbye.

My child has been going to this nursery since February, it is a brilliant nursery with brilliant staff. They are lovely and welcoming and I can see my daughter is happy and safe in the care of the workers in the baby room.

Both my children have attended this nursery and we love it and the staff. They are a caring and loving community and the management have always been responsive to feedback. My eldest is now at school and made the transition very smoothly thanks to the excellent preparation Sunrise did with her in her final term. My youngest (1 year old) is still at Sunrise and barely offers a backwards glance when I drop him off, he is so excited to run into the arms of the nursery staff.

We have been so delighted with Sunrise Community Nurseries and feel very lucky that our daughter is able to attend such a warm, welcoming, wonderful nursery with staff who care so much about what they do - and who are so good at it. The sense of community has been obvious from the start, our daughter has always been happy to go and to see her friends and the staff, and it's been such a great environment for her - we feel it has really helped to set her up in life and will have huge benefits for years to come. It's also incredibly good value and we entirely trust the management to be putting children and families ahead of profit: we feel confident that any money made will be put back into resources for the children and to their excellent staff.

If you're looking for a nursery with a warm, caring outlook, following all the areas to increase your child's development within a stable and respectful framework, and a diverse community of parents, then Sunrise should definitely be your first choice!
