Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery setting.

• Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and their families.

• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.

• Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to senior staff as needed.

• Help manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.

• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.

Requirements

• Experience in looking after, caring for babies is essential.

• Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members

• Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.

• A genuine love for working with children and an understanding of their developmental needs.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and supportive atmosphere.

Duties

• Support the daily care and supervision of babies, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness at all times

• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote early learning and development

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming nursery environment in compliance with health and safety standards

• Communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents to provide updates on children’s progress and needs

• Support team leadership by helping manage routines such as feeding, nappy changes, sleep schedules, and playtime

• Observe and record developmental milestones to assist with tailored care plans

• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere through proactive communication and collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience looking after or working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly preferred

• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices

• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues

• Passionate about early childhood development with a caring, energetic approach
