Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to preschool-aged children, including toddlers and those with special needs.
- Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth.
- Support children with diverse needs by applying inclusive teaching strategies and collaborating with specialists when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about each child's progress, needs, and achievements through regular updates.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or classroom aides to ensure high-quality instruction and care.
- Maintain detailed records of children's developmental milestones, attendance, and behavioral observations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, health protocols, and licensing requirements at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with young children in educational or caregiving settings, including toddlers.
- Knowledge of special education principles and experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Background in teaching or tutoring young learners with an emphasis on early childhood development.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports children of all abilities.
- Certification or training in Montessori and QTS
