We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 3rd in Charge/Room Leader to join our vibrant childcare team. As a key team member, you will support the Room Leader in daily operations, lead by example, and help foster a positive atmosphere where children can thrive and develop their full potential. Responsibilities

• Manage the allocated room and lead the team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the room and maintaining high standards of care, learning, and practice.
• Assist the Room Leader in managing daily nursery operations, ensuring smooth and efficient routines.
• Support Management Team in thier tasks
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s developmental milestones across all areas of learning.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child’s progress, needs, and daily experiences.
• Support children’s individual needs through tailored care plans and positive behaviour management strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children within a childcare or nursery setting.
• Strong management and leadership skills to guide a team confidently.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English to interact clearly with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are preferred.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
