We're now looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to support the Nursery Manager in leading our passionate team at Mosaic Nursery. Main duties of the job

This role provides the following services to the Trust: - You'll be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and the nursery's policies and procedures. You'll play a large part in helping to lead, mentor, and support the nursery team at Mosaic, promoting a positive, collaborative, and professional culture while ensuring staff development and performance are maintained to a high standard. You'll help the manager to collaborate with a range of individuals, building strong, trusting relationships with families and external agencies, supporting each child's development and wellbeing, and ensuring the nursery is always prepared for Ofsted inspections.

Skills / Qualifications

  • level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification
  • a recognised level 5 early years qualification
  • Excellent understanding of EYFS.
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
  • experience at managing day care settings with knowledge of all Ofsted Welfare Requirements for children and inspection procedures
  • experience supporting team members to achieve good outcomes of Ofsted inspections
  • Quality Assurance Schemes
  • Local Authority initiatives.
