Head of Nursery – Reigate St Mary’s

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced and inspirational Early Years leader to help create and shape a new Nursery at the heart of Reigate St Mary’s Prep School, part of the Reigate Grammar Family of Schools.

Opening in Spring 2027, the Nursery will welcome children from six months and mark an exciting new chapter in the development of Early Years at RSM. The successful candidate will have a genuine opportunity to influence the provision from the outset — shaping its culture, environment, routines and team, while benefiting from the support, facilities and educational expertise of an established independent prep school.

Set within RSM’s beautiful 15-acre grounds, the Nursery will provide a warm, nurturing and ambitious environment, with children benefiting from the wider opportunities of school life and a seamless journey into Kindergarten, Reception and beyond.

We are looking for an exceptional leader who combines outstanding Early Years practice with strong management and operational expertise, together with the drive, initiative and vision to establish a thriving new provision.

For an exceptional candidate with the appropriate experience and leadership capability, there may also be an opportunity for membership of the school’s Senior Leadership Team.
