Nursery Nurse

At A Bright Start Nursery Rumney Ltd, we are looking for a Nursery Nurse that is friendly, caring and has an empathetic, nurturing nature, that will respect the home-from-home ethos we have created at the nursery.

The successful candidate will part time  3 to 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts. (Days will be discussed)

• Candidates considered for the role must be at least level 3 or playworker qualified.
• Able to plan on a medium and short term basis
• Have the ability to have the children led play
• Be kind, caring and nurturing to fit with our ethos and team
• Be able to complete observations and record children's development records.
• Be trained in safeguarding, food hygiene and first aid. And have the ability to administer medication, report any concerns and handle food correctly. (Full training will be provided)
• Promote positive behaviour and social skills in line with our nursery policies
• Be able to build and maintain positive communication and relationships with children, parents, carers and the team.
