Hello!

I'm Louise, the proud owner of A Bright Start Nursery, which I opened back in 2014 alongside my talented daughter Charlotte, who manages our setting daily.

I’m happily married and am a mother to three grown daughters. I also cherish spending time with my two energetic grandsons and two lovely granddaughters. When I have some spare time, I enjoy going on health-focused walks with my husband, travelling, and making precious memories with my grandchildren.

Starting the nursery was a new adventure for me, as I hadn’t previously worked in childcare. To ensure I could effectively support our setting, I completed my Level 3 Childcare qualification, which also allows me to step in where needed.

My primary role here is as the chef, and I take great pride in preparing homemade meals right on the premises. I love involving the children in our seasonal menu planning, catering to their tastes and encouraging their curiosity.

I feel incredibly proud to have my daughters by my side as we run this family business together, fostering a nurturing and welcoming environment for everyone.

I'm Charlotte, the proud Manager of running my family-run nursery. My mum is the owner, while my sister Vicky and my daughter's godmother Nicole are my fantastic assistants. Together, we make a dedicated management team for your little ones.

At bit about me, I've been happily married to my husband, Chris, for two and a half years. We’re proud parents to our lovely daughter, Lillian Rayne, who is a lively toddler! In my spare time, I love having special mummy-and-daughter days with Lillian, where we enjoy ballet classes, shopping, soft play, visiting family, and exploring new places together as a family. Like every parent, our lives are quite busy!

I bring over 16 years of experience in childcare to my role, starting as an apprentice and working my way up to management. Throughout my journey, I’ve developed a deep respect for all our amazing staff. I approach my work with enthusiasm and a genuine passion for what I do.

I take great pride in helping children and my team thrive, building confidence, self-esteem, and a positive outlook in everyone. Here at the nursery, we’ve integrated child-centred and child-led play into our daily routine to accommodate the diverse interests and abilities of our little ones. I’m truly passionate about providing the highest quality care and education for 'our' children.

Working closely with parents and carers is essential to me, as I believe that a personal touch helps build strong relationships with our families. As a mum, I strive to create a home-from-home environment, welcoming everyone with an open-door policy!

Hello! I’m Nicole, and I’m part of the management team here at A Bright Start Nursery, my role is assistant manager.

I’ve been in childcare for over 12 years, and I’ve spent the last 8 wonderful years at this nursery, which I absolutely wholeheartedly adore!

As a mum to a lively 6-year-old son and a delightful 3-year-old daughter, I truly understand both the joys and challenges that come with parenting. In my free time, my family and I love to travel and discover new places. We enjoy exciting adventures at soft play centres, parks, adventure golf, and swimming pools. My days are often busy making sure my kids have fun and can express themselves, whether it’s at ballet, karate, or swimming lessons.

In my role, I support Charlotte with implementing policies and procedures, staff development, and children's growth. It's important to us that we recognise every child as an individual so they can thrive and develop a strong sense of self-esteem and uniqueness.

I’m always here to help the team and answer any questions from parents, carers, and visitors.

Hi there! I’m Victoria, but everyone calls me Vicky.

I’ve been a part of A Bright Start since 2015, starting as an apprentice before earning my Level 3 childcare qualification and stepping up to the management team.

I’m a proud single mum to my energetic 8-year-old son, Louie, and my gorgeous baby girl, Athena-Louise, who turns 1 in December! In my spare time, I love visiting Home Bargains and B&M for a little retail therapy, browsing Vinted for great finds, and just enjoying moments with my kids.

My role here involves helping to run the baby room while also lending a hand to my sister Charlotte in the office. Together, we tackle paperwork, welcome new children and staff, and look into grant funding opportunities.

I'm excited for all the fun ahead with everyone!
