Shooting Stars Nurseries is seeking a passionate and motivated Nursery Manager to lead our beautiful Tettenhall Nursery & Preschool. This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning nursery group and take the lead in a newly and thoughfully refurbished setting catering for up to 85 children across four age-specific rooms.

You'll be responsible for leading a dedicated team, ensuring outstanding care and education, building strong family partnerships and driving the continued success of the nursery.

About the Role

As Nursery Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall leadership and operational management of the nursery. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading an established team: Inspire and support a passionate group of practitioners to deliver outstanding care and education
  • Maintaining high standards: Ensure EYFS compliance and promote strong progress for all children
  • Safeguarding and inclusion: Champion a safe, inclusive environment where every child thrives
  • Building partnerships: Strengthen relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies
  • Driving performance: Monitor occupancy, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Developing your team: Conduct regular observations, appraisals, and support ongoing professional development

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification Early Years experience
  • 2 years' management experience in a nursery or Early Years setting
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
  • Proven success in leading teams and creating inspiring learning environments
  • Strong communication, organisational and safeguarding skills
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in children’s lives
