Room Leader – Flax Bourton Nursery, Bristol

The Role:
As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a room within the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and development for all children. You will support and motivate your team, plan engaging activities, and build strong relationships with families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of practitioners within your room
• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
• Monitor children’s development and ensure individual needs are met
• Maintain a safe, secure, and inclusive environment
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
• Support staff development and act as a positive role model
• Ensure safeguarding and compliance standards are consistently met

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years
• Previous experience in a senior practitioner or Room Leader role
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A passion for providing high-quality childcare
