Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our thriving Early Years setting. Our School offers a nurturing, structured and inspiring environment where boys aged 2–4 begin their educational journey with curiosity, confidence and joy.
Key Responsibilities
- Early Years provision — effectively deliver the EYFS, ensuring the individual needs and interests of the children are met.
- Child development — Support social, emotional and cognitive development through purposeful play and structured activities.
- Pastoral care — Provide warm, attentive care tailored to the needs of young boys.
- Classroom environment — Maintain a safe, stimulating and well-organised learning space.
- Team collaboration — Work closely with colleagues to provide an inclusive and enabling environment in which all boys can play, develop and learn.
Successful candidates will:
- Have previous experience working within a childcare setting
- Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or higher qualification
- Have an understanding and commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
- Be able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
- Have strong communication skills and a nurturing approach
Hours of work will be 8.00 am-4.00 pm Monday through Friday (40 hours per week). Our Nursery setting is open for 48 weeks per year.
