My son is attending the nursery. He isn't great at listening to people, nor are we particularly easy to deal with as parent, so the teachers had to deal with a lot, and they did so without a hint of annoyance. We both work and the teachers were very nice and understanding if we can't participate in school's "special events", e.g. costume day. On the day the nursery closed for Christmas, my son was even the last one there for two hours, but the teacher just played with him on a one-on-one basis. My son is now basically toilet-trained without us doing much. He knows about three hundreds words within six months and we don't even speak English at home.

The holidays are very short, compared to most private schools. Only a week for Easter, two for Christmas and two for Summer. The days are 8am to 6pm. We do have to work hard to afford the fees but the teachers are professional to the very sense of the word and for that fee I don't think we can get this quality of care anywhere else.

Nursery staff are very friendly and supportive of our child. They show a lot of care and patience which they run though with us during pick up. It's great to see our child flourish and enjoy his time there.

My son started at APS nursery three months ago and I am so happy that I moved him here.
The staff are professional and efficient and have great communication with parents. More importantly, they are also incredibly kind, caring, patient and fun.
The boys do some fantastic, wholesome activities. There is lots of outdoor play and themed weeks centred around the boys' interests.

I would wholly recommend APS nursery.

We couldn't be happier with our experience here. The staff are not only caring and nurturing but bring so much more to each day - they genuinely engage the children's curious minds and encourage them to explore and learn in such thoughtful ways.
It's clear that every member of the team is dedicated and genuinely loves what they do. They always greet us with warm smiles and take the time to share little stories about our child's day, which makes us feel so reassured and connected.
We love that it's not just about keeping the children safe and happy (which they absolutely do!), but also about sparking their imagination and helping them develop socially, emotionally and intellectually. It really feels like an extension of family - a place where our child is loved, encouraged and inspired every single day.

We couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough!

We are so happy with this nursery. The spaces are clean, spacious, and perfectly designed for every activity. The teachers are warm, professional and truly caring. In just a few weeks, our son became more independent; he started trying to use the toilet, dress himself, and is always excited to come back the next day. A truly welcoming and nurturing environment. Highly recommended!

My son absolutely loved going to nursery at APS. The staff are so enthusiastic, nurturing and approachable. I loved getting the picture updates to see what he had been up to. The facilities are all lovely, clean and varied. He made lots of lovely friends and thrived during his time in nursery thanks to his teachers. I couldn't have sent him to a better place, would highly recommend!

Only from viewing APS as a prospective school for my son did I become aware they had a nursery. I can honestly say this was a blessing in disguise as my son has been happy there ever since. He is now in reception, still very happy and really thriving.
The teachers are a credit to the school. They are all incredibly passionate and dedicated to improving the learning experience. Every child is valued and encouraged.
The nursery facilities are impressive with a wonderful exploratory space and beautiful surroundings, the boys are immersed in a learning experience without realising. The integrated forest school, trikes, tennis courts and the lovely bell field with impressive climbing area are just a few things to mention.

I would absolutely recommend APS nursery, it gave my little boy the best start to learning and he is still happy learning. An attitude that has certainly been encouraged and nurtured through being at APS.

I have nothing but good things to say about Altrincham Preparatory School and Nursery. My youngest son just joined the nursery but my older son also attended a few years ago before joining the main school. The staff are friendly, helpful and obviously well-trained. They all take time to get to know your son as an individual and meet his specific needs, offering settling sessions to help them adjust to starting nursery. Communication has been excellent and they even send photo updates of what the boys are up to through an app. The facilities are impressive, with lots of play/activity options and a learning environment that fosters early literacy and numeracy skills. I also really appreciate that they try to get the boys outside as much as the weather permits. Safety is a priority and the site is secured with multiple gates with a code required at the main entrance. My son loves going to nursery and he comes home happy and tired (in a good way). Can't ask for more.

Our experience with Altrincham Preparatory School and Nursery so far has been nothing short of fantastic. I have had the pleasure to watch him grow and thrive at the hands of the brilliant team that work at the nursery. His key worker goes far and beyond to make him feel comfortable and loved, which gives me peace of mind in knowing that he is safe and happy. The advantage of a small class size at Altrincham Preparatory School and Nursery has given my son ample opportunities to grow, learn and build lovely relationships.

I highly recommend the nursery of Altrincham Preparatory School. My two-year-old son joined this nursery this January and he has been cared for very well. The environment is very neat and clean, all the teachers are responsible and kind. Before this one, we tried another two nurseries, compared to them, this nursery is the cleanest and warmest one.
