Nursery Nurse Assistant

Experienced, qualified Nursery Nurse Assistant required for a highly reputable nursery based in Seven Kings, Ilford, London.

Role responsibilities

• Work as a key person and provide high standards of quality learning
• Support nursery room and team
• Observe and plan for children following EYFS curriculum
• Build relationships with children and their families
• Maintain health & safety of children and follow safeguarding procedures

Tasks: 

• Baths, dresses, prepares feed for and feeds babies, changes babies clothing whenever necessary;
• Supervises young children at mealtimes;
• Plans and organises games and other activities and supervises children's play, within educational parameters;
• Reads stories, organises counting games to help develop language and number skills;
• Writes reports on children's development and maintains awareness of health and safety issues;
• Communicates with parents and colleagues on children's development and well-being in line with company policy.
• Builds good rapport with parents
