We are looking for a passionate, friendly and hard-working Lunch Support to join our nursery team based at Chestnut Nursery School @ St Nicholas House, NR28 9AT

Salary

We are able to offer a high competitive salary, to be discussed with candidate

The Role

This is a part-time role working Monday to Friday, 4-6 hours a day/20-25 hours per week, between the hours of 9am-3pm. We are flexible on what hours can be worked during this time frame - hours to be discussed with candidate. 

Requirements

The successful applicant will need to have…

·  Prepared to have lots of fun in the work place (and out at company events)

·  Work well within a team

·  Excellent communication skills; written and verbal

·  Excellent organisation skills and time-management

·  Food Hygiene – training can be provided

Key Duties

As a Lunch Support your responsibilities are…

·  To heat, prepare and serve food across the rooms which is received from an outside provider

·  Prepare snack

·  Maintain food hygiene regulations and records

·  Keep a clean and ordered kitchen

·  Follow children’s dietary requirements

·  Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the children at all times

·  Follow policies and procedures

·  Light cleaning duties

·  Maintain confidentiality

·  Safeguard the children from harm

·  Cover staff lunch breaks
