About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and early education. You will work across rooms, supporting children’s development and helping to maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging activities in line with the Curriculum for Wales (Early Years)
• Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
• Carry out observations and contribute to learning journeys
• Support children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) where required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Build strong relationships with parents and colleagues
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
• Support preparation for CIW and ESTYN inspections

Requirements

• Level 3 Childcare Qualification (Essential)
• Knowledge of the Early Years / Curriculum for Wales
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, proactive, and reliable attitude
• Passion for working with children

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Experience supporting children with ALN
• Working towards or completed Level 5 qualification
• Experience with observations and planning systems (e.g. Famly)
