Job summary
We are looking for a passionate Early Years Level 3 practitioner to join our nursery team.
Due to increase numbers of children, we are looking to recruit a practitioner to be based in our Half moon's room (2-3 years).
We are looking for enthusiastic, imaginative, caring individuals who are passionate about providing outstanding childcare and education to Early Years children.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their development and well-being.

Duties
- Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote early learning and development.
- Supervise and interact with children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective strategies for managing children's behaviour.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in childcare and early education.
Skills
- Strong background in early childhood education is essential.
- Ability to promote initiatives that foster children's growth and learning.
- Experience managing groups of children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of nursery practices and childcare regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children and families.
- Leadership qualities to inspire teamwork among staff members while maintaining a positive atmosphere within the nursery setting.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 7.30-6pm (Set day off in the week).
- Full-time hours are 10.5 hours per day with half an hours unpaid lunch break. 4 days per week.
- Our setting is open all year around.
- Holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks including bank holidays and Christmas Closure.
- Pay negotiable depending on experience.
