We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team on a 4-day working week, offering an excellent work-life balance while remaining fully engaged in a rewarding early years career.
About the Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children. You will support learning and development in line with the EYFS framework, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and education are consistently maintained.
This role is ideal for someone who is caring, motivated, and committed to making a positive difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and early years education
- Support children’s development in line with the EYFS framework
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Build strong, professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Complete observations and maintain accurate learning records
- Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment
What We’re Looking For
- Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, reliable, and proactive approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
