Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a Level 3 Lunch Cover Nursery Assistant to join our friendly team and support our nursery during the lunchtime period.

Your Role

As a Lunch Cover Nursery Assistant, you’ll play an important role in keeping our nursery running smoothly during our busiest time of day. You’ll help care for children, support mealtimes, and ensure a calm, safe, and happy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children during lunch and transitions
• Assist with mealtimes and promote positive eating habits
• Supervise children and support age-appropriate activities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Follow EYFS practice, safeguarding, and health & safety procedures
• Work closely with room teams to support daily routines
• Build warm, positive relationships with children and colleagues

What We’re Looking For

Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
Nursery or early years experience
Knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
Caring, patient, and reliable approach
A strong team player with good communication skills
Passion for supporting young children’s development
